The Knockagh Lodge in Greenisland/Carrickfergus is lovely.
http://www.knockaghlodge.com/dining.htm
£15 for adult and £7.50 for child.
Starters are two kinds of soup, then the usual salads and rice and pasta dishes, cold fish, eggs with mayo and cocktail sausages and chicken..some more that I can't think of.
Main course, you are served your meat..normally three choices and you can have a bit of each, then the mash, roast, chips and veg.
Desserts are lovely and always have a wide selection, and then tea or coffee.
Drinks can be expensive but we always get a large jug of juice, about £4 to spilt among the table.;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0 -
Ballygally Castle was very good but kept putting their prices up. I'd say the Tullyglass is better in terms of value.0

Tried it once. Never again! Gave me such bad stomach problems it was unreal. Staff were arrogant and rude too... Mind you, that was about two years ago so perhaps they have improved.0 -

Was at a good carvery today in Walsh's Hotel, Maghera. Main course was £5.50:T and a good selection of food, beautifully cooked, best value for money meal i've ever had.
Also noticed that on Tues nights they serve a 22oz steak with trimmings for £13.95, no doubt I'll be trying that shortly:D0
