The last meal I had in Dobbin's was terrible. The mash tasted exactly like school dinner mash and that wasn't a compliment!

Tullyglass House Hotel in Ballymena does a cracking carvery. I need a wheelbarrow to leave that place cause i always end up eatting till bursting point. http://www.tullyglass.com/carvery.php

I'll disagree on this one, we were there for a carvery, got seated beside an exterior door which had a gale howling through it and had lukewarm food too. Not a pleasant experience for us I'm afraid.

Got to agree with Bigcammy here. Dobbins food used to be lovely and great value for money, but it's gone downhill and we no longer eat there now.

Tullyglass Hotel in Ballymena very good. Had the carvery there about 2 weeks ago for the first time. From memory about £19 which is not cheap, but there were either 5 or possibly 6 courses for that price.

Was in Tullyglass many years ago and it was good. It used to be around £12-13, it's got quite expensive.

You were'nt by any chance in a large party? I ask because just about everytime im in they always seem to sit large parties by that big wooden door. And i do agree if you get seated there is can be a tad chilly.

If you were in a smaller party then i would have asked to move. Last time i was there with my grandfather who cant walk very far and they wanted to seat us quite far back, but a polite word and they seated us right up near the front without any fuss.
