  • hi all
been lurking for a while now and feel utterly inspired by the thrifty threads.
i have now started baking my own cakes:D and went out and bought a cheap and cheerful breadmaker from Argos. the problem is i have lost the bread kneeder thing in the bottom.
cannot find a replacement and was wondering if any from a different make would fit or do i need to buy a new one?
thank you one and all in advance!!!
Dear Lord,so far today i am doing alright. i have not lost my temper, been selfish or rude.i have not cursed, whined or eaten any chocolate. HOWEVER, i will be getting out of bed in a minute and i will need a lot more help after that...amen

you probably will be able to get a spare kneader from the manufacturers (sp?) of the breadmaker. what model have you got?you can probably look online for parts but they sometimes are quite pricey for their parts though.
proper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance! :p

Yes, I got one for my Morphy Richards - threw the old one in the bin by mistake.

Just google for the make and spares - there are loads of places on-line. I actually ordered mine on the phone and it was delivered by the end of the week. It only cost a couple of pounds including p&p.

I will try and find the name of the site I used.

    Here it is http://www.spares2go.co.uk/

Hope I am allowed to post this.

I have a breadpan and paddle for the Morphy Richards 48200 going spare. If you want them please PM me.
It gave me great service for 5 years. Model is obsolete but pan and paddle may fit the more modern ones. Also have the instruction and recipe booklet
    I now have a panasonic.
