As long as your model is new you should be ok. I had the old style cookworks breadmaker a few years ago. I accidently chucked the kneading tool. When I ordered a replacement for the blade they sent me the blade for the new model, which didn't fit. I ended up having to replace the breadmaker.

If you are ordering a spare from argos, it might be worth ordering an extra spare. just in case :o .

Ive recycled my cooksworks breadmaker recipe booklet into the shredder by mistake  does anyone have the recipe for basic white and basic brown bread please?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi, I have a Cookworks and found this manual online which seems to be almost the identical breadmaker under a different name (Sunbeam 5891). I use the ultra fast (58 mins) setting for a 'wholemeal' loaf using 2 cups white flour and 1 cup wholemeal. Hope it is useful link
