Citroen C1 - any thoughts ?
Please be gentle with me, I'm a little old lady
I'm tempted to buy a Citroen C1, supermarket trips plus odds and bits mean I drive only 4k miles a year now.
Would the basic petrol C1 be ok for me ? I currently have a Nissan Micra which will probably keep going for another 20 years  but I'm bored with it and fancy a new car

What about the other twins, the Peugeot 107 and the Toyota Aygo?
They seemed to have problems with the doorseals letting in bucketloads of water. The man without a signature.0 -
The citroen is also sold badged as a Peugoet and as the Toyota Aygo which now has the bonus of a 5 year warranty. Worth checking which car has the spec you want as they do differ, and which manufacturer is offering the best deal0

Why are you 'only considering' a Citroen C1 specifically then and nothing else?0

I saw one, liked it and finding out what's what about it gives me a baseline to compare others with. Have to start somewhere.....................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Well as others have said the Citroen C1, Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107 are basically the same thing so I wouldn't limit yourself to just the Citroen.
You thinking of buying new or used?0 -
Hyundai i10, better than all the above. Just won Auto Express City car of the year and rightly so. Equipment warranty and space inside are a level above the C1/Aygo cars.0

You're right, they all look like sucked toffees. Probably new, but if I spot a good used I wouldn't ignore it......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
