Does anyone know whether you have to use this on a flat surface or can you use it on a slightly stippled effect on the celing, dont want to buy any paint if it is no good.

    Thanks

Went and got mine this afternoon from B&Q scotswood (Newcastle) and they still had quite a few left, though loads of people were buying them.

I bought a tester to qualify for mine, as I am planning painting the Lounge walls shortly, but they didn't have the colour in the paint pod tubs, so will shop around for a cheap paint pod, even if it means transferring the paint to an old tin, and washing it out to use with the colour we need.

I'm more interested to see if this thing works any better than a traditional roller, in terms of reducing the paint 'spatter'.
