Went with hubby and got one for us and one for our daughter, great find thank you for £1.38 each. Anyone know where the white paint for it is cheapest? :j:T

B&Q had the white for £19.99

Mind it goes a long way but once you have the container you can use it to pour cheaper paint into save paying the high price
If you dont like me remember its mind over matter, I dont mind and you dont matter ;)

just bought a £1.38 tester and had the pod free, if its as bad as everyone seems to say , I will put it straight on e bay next week - say £15 that will do !!
    wey hey

You and several dozen other people will all do the same, crashing the price right down.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the paint discontinued sometime soon, seems like a desperate product clearance to me.

Great find OP. Popped into my local B&Q store today and got mine for £1-38 by buying a Dulux tester paint cartridge. My local B&Q had loads of the pods at the front of their store advertisng the promotion.

For info, I also noted that B&Q were advertising this in the Times today and even telling people that they could get this free via purchasing a £1-38 tester paint.
  • Thanks OP, just managed to get 2 from the Cheltenham store (buying the testers) :j One for us and one for my parents. They had quite a few left but nearly everyone in there was getting them.

Really annoyed. Visited local store - none left. On leaving store 2 members of staff are self-scanning 2 for themselves. Are they allowed to do this?

I made a special effort and got up early this morning so that I didn't miss out on this offer, when I got there, turned out there was 3-4 huge piles of the damn things!!! Typical!!

But I did have a good result in the end, I was determined to find the cheapest Dulux item I could and I managed to find a 'Trade Tester pot' of the paint that they mix up specially for you on the paint mixing counter with Dulux on the tin for 50p. I didn't know if it would work with this paint, so I took a tester pot with me just incase. I said to the guy at the till 'will it work with this one?' He tried it and the Paint Pod went throught for free, bu the tester went through at £2.28, so I said 'Oh its not coming up as 50p', so he manually adjusted the price on the till!

He asked me if I wanted to buy the £1.38 tested pot too, and I said not if the other one is going through at 50p, I only put it in the trolley incase the 50p one didn't work! As an added bonus the 50p pot is bigger than the other tester pots, its like a mini paint tin.

So 1 PaintPod Compact for 50p :T, can anyone beat that I wonder!! :D
