Thanks so much Di, I will give it ago.
Can I claim back for PPI prior to last 6 years/
Also will i have to resend another £10.00 cheque?
Thanks
Deeanne
They should refund at least the last 6 years, but some are more lenient and will go back to even earlier years, one of mine was 2001, but many on here have been even from the 90's.
So do give it a go.
And no do not send any money.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Fine now thanks...This is fine Deeanne, its still a request.;)
Its up to you, but maybe you could just continue with the reclaim, afterall they did not pay out did they?
So go for it (now if you want to).:)
Can I ask you one more thing please, just so I know what I'm doing next?
Am I right in saying I have to use the SAR letter requesting all info and also include
a completed FOS questionnaire then send with another £10.00 cheque?
Thanks so so much, I really appreciate all your help.

Glad your okay now Deeanne.:T
As you have already requested the info that is fine.
the FOS questionnaire, you just send to who set up the policy, and do not enclose any money at all, its all free on the reclaiming.:)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Deanne
As you have already requested your info/for your details on your accounts and sent the payment this will be okay, so no further monies should be sent, but if you felt better for doing this "do not send them any more money", you can just write a letter and tell them you don't believe you have received all the documentation your entitled too, make them aware they payment have already been made and your entitled to all that is held on your accounts by law of the DPA.
Give them say a further 14 days to send the remainder of the documentation, and make them aware if you don't receive them you will be contacting the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Hi deanne do not use a claims co, i know you have had a slight set back here but it will be sorted. Do you have any info on these loans at all, settlement figures etc? as 1 loan is still running you could try and put a claim in for mis sell for that one with your reasons, and ask that you would like all loans in your name and address to be looked at as well for mis sell. This may just be a stalling tactic to put you off. Any info on any loans that you have will help with this, so get your mis sell letter off . You can still request all info but get your claim in now, then you will wait 8 weeks from now instead of 8 weeks when you get your info back.0

Hi Marshallka
Deeanne received "some" SAR info but writing to them for info never received from a request sent 6 June, and giving them 14 days.:);), I understand though that sometimes they send in batches, one of mine was sent in 2 lots of batches.

A SAR can take up to 40 days to receive.....:)
I think the OP means 14 days for the complaint?? :undecided
This is wrong as they have up to 8 weeks to resolve your complaint.Best Regards
