    Hi All,

It's mid August and Autumn is upon us :D
I defrosted my freezer this morning before it gets too cold to do it.

    Morning all,

Beemuzed, how difficult for you, I know you said the Dr's wont talk to you, but I would tell them that you are due to go away, and ask if they think you should go, big hugs for your ds xx

Ok better get on, have good days all xx

I really think this is the best advice, although they won't break confidentiality I am sure they will hint at whether or not you should go on holiday. Masive hugs to you bemuzzed.

    Happy Birthday Tired Mum :j

Been to physio today. Sort of doing OS paper work, have applied to simply health for a claim for to see if I can get some of my therapy costs back. Also got motivated to change my ISA then realised the one I have is the best at the moment even though the rate is dreadful! Been feeling so sleepy lately, I hope it sorts itself out before I go back to work! Posted more eBay items today, I have made over £100 in the past 6 weeks :T. Hugs to all that need them x x x

    Afternoon all,

    Happy birthday Tired Mum!

We have had some really heavy showers to-day and then brilliant sunshine afterwards for a couple of hours....strange. Feeling a bit cold, so will have to think about getting back into shoes and socks soon, hate that as I feel it is an admission that Summer is over.

Beemuzed....so sorry to hear that DS is so unwell, as someone else advised, tell docs what you have planned and ask for their advice on what you should do...hugs to you all.

Put on a wash before I went to hospital with OH...or thought that I did, left door open, so was only started when we came back....as its tipping down at the moment, maybe the washing would be better on airers.

Did some shopping this morning too, then went to DD4 for a light lunch, we often don't have lunch as we eat breakfast rather late....OH doesn't feel like eating until he has been up for a couple of hours and has got me into habit now....would prefer to eat at more regular times but seems a bit picky to insist when there are only the 2 of us.

Dinner tonight will be spaghetti with some frozen prawns in a tomato sauce....really needing to use up freezer stuff, feel that some of the stuff there is almost as old as myself!

Hugs to all in need or want of one....welcome to any newbies, seems to be a wonderful 'crop' of newbies this week

    Afternoon all

Not had time to read thread so (((hugs))) if needed.

Very busy day at work. Turns out colleague who is leaving has done no prep for the last few weeks of his team where I have to now take over  so lots of phonecalls and sorting stuff out!

I'm off to an outdoor theatre event tonight with a HM picnic, should be fun, just hope weather holds out.

There is a handyman here at moment ficxing my bathroom door. It doesn't fit right so he is planing it. There is now dust everywhere  so need to hoover before I go and rewash my towels!

    Have good evening all

I wish I did but mine has not been defrosted for like 2 years  and it was getting to that stage now or never *being able to open the tray*

Plus I am starting to bulk cook my meals for this autum/winter. I hope I am saving a little bit more energy/money since it's defrosted.

    ¡Hola!

    :bdaycake: TiredMum

Lovely to hear from you again MSD -for the newbies, MoneySavingDiva has been with us some time now, and regularly opened the thread remembering us all, but has not been very well and has not been up to posting for a while, and naturally we are so pleased to see her back posting.

:hello: newbies, sorry memory like a sieve.

Pen-Pin, Sunnyday/girl and all others MIA  say hello if you can

purpleivy, tru nice to see you two too.

    :grouphug: Beemuzed

Well you lot are frightening the life out of me, how on earth am I going to cope when I get back when I now fine 25C a nice temp.:rotfl::rotfl::o:D :p How many layers am I going to need??:eek::eek:Please tell me it is not that bad in sunny Donny?:(

DS & GF went back last night, so today has been a mega wash day getting ready for our departure early Saturday, have an ironing mountain, will consider that tomorrow. Put the spare bedroom back to two singles, have to put the 2 together for DS & GF;).

It is fridge/freezer use up time now, hopefully will manage to use up so can have every excuse for a cheapy Chinese on Friday night. If awake enough will go and listen to a live band tonight, but it doesn't start until 10.30pm. Tomorrow will be the usual local bar with guy singing and playing guitar, nothing rivetting, but very pleasant and friendly.

Like LW this is getting long so will say bye for now. Take care DG

    Hi everyone,

Beemuzed, I'm sorry to hear that your DS is worse again. As others have said mayube ask if you should go. When we were in a similar situation with FIL I asked the nurse on duty "If it was your father would you go" and received an honest answer back.

Oberammergau is lovely, I've not been to the passion play but have stayed there for a week.

Had a phone call from DD in New York - she was sobbing and when asked what was wrong said "everything". Not what you want to hear when you are several thousand miles away. Luckily it wasn't as bad as all that, she'd been ill, is very tired and was knocked back from a job she went for. She'll be home tomorrow so will have lots of TLC then.

Not much OS today to report, work and then swimming, steak and chips for dinner and then a slob in front of the TV I'm afraid.

Oh Beemuzed you need such a big hug. I would suggest what the others have said.

    Snoozer, hope DD is ok.

Redruby you pal is lucky to have you as a friend, get well wishes to her.

Anyway, had another strange day at work, why are in-service days so odd? Nearly had to come home as the workmen were emptying a big tank of water in the loft of the school which left us without water to flush loos and wash hands. The building has been empty for 6 weeks and they decide to do it today!

Thought I would put the washing out when I got home but there was an enormous shower on the way home so I put it on the rack instead. DS2 cooked a lovely pasta dish for tea and everything seems to be happy in this house.

Masterchef on soon so I will be watching that and having a rest before the term begins properly tomorrow.

    Take care all. XX

    Evening All!

Hope you are all well. I am feeling very tense tonight and am not sure why. Mother in Law popped in for an hour earlier which was lovely, Coco was delighted to see her granny, she adores her. :D I am off to paint the hallway again as I never finished it in my decorating frenzy the other week. It should be transformed by the time OH comes home tonight. Hopefully that will get out all my stress. Have a good evenings all. Hope things are OK with your son Beemuzed I have been thinking about you all today. XXX
