well update , i phoned virgin as my balance transfer has gone through, i told them i wish to close my account, as the apr has gone up way to high,
the apr was origionally 15.9 apr, they upped this to 27.9 :eek:
outcome = kept account open, now the apr is....... wait for it.........

and a brill deal on balance transfer as well, so im now pleased :rotfl:0 -

just under 2 years, i read in your first post your planning on doing this with morgan stanly, my advise is dont pnone them until the balance transfer has gone through, and dont threaten to close, say your considering closing your account,
you still have a full balance? or you gonna bt it?0 -

I've got a balance of £1.8k which I will be able to pay off by mid October. I'm half thinking of working on the MBNA instead, as I have had it for just over 3 years and you never hear about Morgan Stanley offering customers a deal to stop them closing. Then again, my MBNA balance is £600 more than the Morgan Stanley so wont be able to do that until november.0
