well today im going to: -

    *ring council about ct debt.
    *put washing out
*get my sons bed out garage
    *sort bedroom out for kids.

Going try and not spend anything today and just do tidying up at home and maybe go on the wii for a bit to get my energy levels up and start me getting some exercise. I really need to start going bed earlier as well as i am spending to long on the computer and watching rubbish on the tv at night. Gonna go and get the kids and myself dressed and ready for the day so i can start my list. and the housework.

Just thought id pop in and say hello

Well done on posting and realising youve got to sort your debts out, this forum offers so much help its fantastic.

Im a single mum of 4 but afair bit older than you and like you I am plugging away at my debts. I love watching the debt balances go down it gives me so much motivation.

I think your doing fantastic with your no smoking, my day to give up is tomorrow so I have stocked up on patches and chewing gum and have even thought about trying to knit just so it keeps my hands busy lol (everyone will be getting scarves for Xmas). I am planning on paying £4.80 per day off 1 of my debts as this is how much I would spend on a packet of cigs.

Ive subscribed to your thread so if ever you need a kick up the a$$ or motivation you can always send me a PM.

Your doing great, keep up the good work

    Hugs

Hey mandz, i am the same, i stay up watching absolute drivvle on television instead of getting much needed kip, i get up late as well, dont know if its just because the kids are off, but im getting me and the kids back into a routine this week
Glad your getting the homelife sorted, i believe that if your home is clean you feel happier and alot better at dealing with things, where as if my house is a tip i cant function and everything seems impossible

Have you thought about going back to college ? if you cant find work atm ( which is what im having a problem with, not for want of trying either) so ive gone back to college to retrain

    all the best

    i always need a kick up the a s s.
Well treated the boys to a mcdonalds today. probably shouldnt as it would have been better to pay it towards my debt but every1 deserves a treat every once in a while.
rang council was on hold for 10mins before i got to speak to anyone but got through and even tho i left my house middle may, they didnt know i left til 27th june, so thats y its more than it should be, but i cant find my letter to show i moved out on the 19th may so i may have to pay the full £321. Have gave them my exs address to try and get him to pay half but i seriously doubt that will happen!
still got ironing to do but may do that when kids have gone bed. Need to put the wii on for the boys b4 they start fighting again then i can go make the beds.
Gota check experian later to see if i can try and get a paper credit report and got to chase equifax to see where my credit report of them is (ordered it bout 3-4 weeks ago.)

They didnt know you had left till June 27th, yet you had to be out by end of may and they boarded the house up, surely they would know you had moved out before June

No apparently nottingham city council does the ct, but the houses are sorted by nottingham city homes which means the council have nothing to do with the houses and u have to let them know when u move out. unfortunatley i cannot find my eviction letter. think i chucked it tbh cos i was that peed of when i left i ripped it to littloe bits. didnt think i would need it either.
