grrrrr..... just ate a quaver sandwich. wish i didnt now as i was doing soooo well. Dont think i have gone over my calorie allowance for the day though.
Still trying to think of ways to reduce my debt quicker. Sick of getting letters from my debtors(even though its not as many as it was) asking for me to pay them something. There is only two at the moment that havent got payment plans set up on them, which stupidly i have tried to avoid setting anything up with them cos i wanted to clear a few of my small debts first. Dunno what to do now. Cant think of any ways to make money or to help me stop spending, apart from quitting the ciggies, but while im trying to lose weight, i dont really want to give them up until ive lost a bit of weight. I am a big lady(not massive, but big enough) and i want to lose just over 5 stone. I think the stress of money gets in my way aswell as i dont want to spend loads on weight loss tools as that money could be used for debt payments.

Need to go and get a few bits and bobs tomorrow as there is absolutley nothing in for dinners. trying to keep the shopping down to a minimum but will get a line on the lottery. may win.

cant sleep yet again, too much worrying i suppose.

Well very busy but expensive day. Di the food shopping, came to just over £41 but me and my mum split the shopping bill so only cost me £21. Also brought a big box of nappies for £11 from asda as they have their baby event on, pluss 2pairs of trousers, 2 polo shirts and a jumper for my ds1 for school, but have just received a cheque for £18 for help with his school clothes so will take £10 out of that when i put it in the bank and it clears. which means i have £8 left to get him some new shoes(may go over that though).

Also went to ikea today with the mother to get my son a small bed as since i moved in with my mum, he has just been sleeping on a mattress, bless him as his own bed was too big for the small room. so he is now up in his bed and he loves it, although it should be for my ds2 when he comes out of his cot, but thought that my ds1 could use it for a bit as its not right that he is stuck on a matress on the floor. My mum let me put it on her ikea card but i will be paying her back asap and hopefully my ex will give me some money towards it too seeing as it is for his kids.

DD for one debt went out today for £40. £19.80 came straight out of my benefits for my O/P of housing benefit and i have paid £15 of my robinson way debt. so all in all a good week this week for all of my payments to go out, even tho it has left me skint. Get paid Child tax tomorrow and need to pay my board to my mum and thats it.

Diet has not been good today, ive had so much rubbish today, hopefully will be better tomorrow.

Well diet went well and truly out the window today, ate too much !!!!!!. Paid my mum her board, paid £10 to cabot. slowly but surely getting somewhere.

helped my mum deliver loads of yellow pages over the last few days but we are a few short so got to go pick them up tomorrow and deliver them sunday, then hopefully she will give me a bit of money for helping her to deliver them. not sure how much but i told her i want £50. lol doubt id get it but we will have to wait to get the cheques anyway and wait for them to clear. But whatever she gives me i will pay half towards my debt and half towards christmas i think.

Already started my xmas shopping but i still need to buy loads more. may just buy a few things for my boys for the actual day and then take them shopping in the sales. saves me a bit of money then. Dont really want to do the big christmas thing this year anyway as i havent got much to show for the last year and its never the same as when i was a child.lol Im lucky if i get 1 present. But as long as my babies are happy then so am i!

well today has been a bad day. Keeps getting snide little comments about everything of a certain sum1 which really puts me on a downer. Doesnt help that im still depressed.
weight loss isnt going anywhere, debts are slowly coming down but not down enough. does my head in.
And now sum1 alarm is going off and it will be all night as i think they work nights. shes got 2 stupid little dogs that have probably set it off. If it wakes my kids up, i wont be happy.
Spent a little bit today but not as much as i wanted. Seen a brilliant liverpool football shirt for my son, but decided not to buy it as my ex said that he hasnt got enough money this week to go halves with me either.

No payments made to the debt today, as ive got to make the money ive got last me till friday and i didnt take the cheque to the bank because i forgot to pick it up like a idiot.

    Thats it for now!

bidded on a few HA properties last night, also contacted a few private houses by email. got a viewing today for a house and 1 on thursday.
Got a phone call yesterday from library to say that my book, the secret is in. I have got high hopes from reading on here, was going to pick it up today but the rain is stopping me.
Just listed a few things on ebay, so will see if they sell. Need to raise some funds so i have a deposit and first months rent for a private house so i can move out of my mums house and get my own space back. I did a little calculations last night and i have worked out i would need £30 gas and electric each per month, £12 tv licence, just buy a cheap freeview box so i aint paying out for sky, £20 water and be very frugal and try and get food shopping for £80 a month for me and my 2 boys. so should be able to afford to have my own house and pay my debts. Would need to buy a sofa, kettle and microwave but think i have everything else and i would just put away a bit of money each month to save up for my own computer, which i would get a dongle and just top it up when i got the money.
I may have to cut back on the overpayments of my debts but can still make minimum repayments, just means i will be in debt a little bit longer.
Oh well, this has been my worst year ever, so hopefully things can only get better. :)

not been on for a few days mainly because ive been soooo !!!!!! off. Baliffs came to my house and i stopped them coming in for a bit, but finally let them in and they said they wouldnt take any of my mums things if she could prove they were hers, but they did want £530 off me as i do owe them quite a bit. my mum really help me out and paid them £300, which i will pay her bk asap, but they want the other £230 by thursday this week. so far i have £60. my ex has said he will give me £50 tomorrow, but i wont count that as he isnt reliable, even though it is his debt aswell because its in his name. Got !!!!!! off because atm im not working and they are chasing me for this debt but not him and the baliff that came round about 3 weeks ago completley lied to me about a few things, but the lady that came round the other day said that she doesnt think he works for them anymore.

So i am now trying to find ways of raising the £170 i need. ive got a few little bits on ebay but that wont fetch much and most of them dont end till monday so i wont get the money through on time anyway. I was thinking of trying to sell my fridge freezer thats stuck in the garage on ebay and doing collection only. When i sold my mums dishwasher on ebay the other month, it sold within an hour and he picked it up the next day so im thinking that may be the best way of making about £60-£70. only problem is the garage is full of all my cra p! and i cant get to it to take a decent photo. Duno what to do. Stresssssssss!!!! and to make it worse all this stress is bringing me out in spots.

    Hi there
Really sorry to hear that you are having such a tough time at the moment.

I hope you don't mind but I have a few comments, that I hope will help you. Sorry if they are a bit blunt, but I don't know any other way of saying things:eek:.

Ref your EX wanting to get back with you. This is because you were a soft touch. He is finding it a bit tough in the big world on his own, when he hasn't got a doormat to get debt for him. Bet he is finding it hard to get credit....You know having a dad around who does drink and drugs is bad for the kids to be around. So I can't see any reason to have him back in your life. Why settle for second best when if you do, you might miss out on a really good catch?

Ref the bailiffs can I suggest you send a message to Herbie21? She runs a website called bailifsonline.com I think, and she will help you sort them out.

Have you got a credit union near you? Usually you have to pay a bit in, in order to borrow money, but in the case of bailiffs some credit unions might lend you it up front.

Or what about a crisis loan of the DSS? I don't think you have to pay those back do you? I am just thinking that it would get the bailiffs off your back, and that would in turn free up some money.

Have you seriously thought about going bankrupt? Why pay this off if it is mainly your EXs debt? Ok you would maybe have to pay back the council tax debt, but not the rest of the debt. Surely then you could use the money you would save for a rental deposit and the furniture you need.

Also with regards to furniture don't forget to have a look at your local freecycle and freegle sites, as people often offer furniture, children's clothes etc on there and it is all free, you just have to pick it up!

Whilst not a certain earners there are literally 100's of competitions on the competitions forum to enter. If you win and it is something you want then woohoo, if it isn't you can either use it for a present or sell it cheap on ebay to raise some funds!

Then there is the up you income forum. Has a load of ways of getting more money in. You mentioned that you were doing some surveys, but what about rewarded opinions, lightspeedpanel.com, crowdology there are loads.

If you pm Eagerlearner, they will send you a spreadsheet that list all the places you can get free money. This is free clicks where you click on a site and you get 2p a click or whatever. Ok so it isn't much for each click, but at one point I was making 40p a day free! That is £2.80 a week - or £145.60 a year. And I wasn't even trying very hard!

Ref the weight/depression/smoking. Can I suggest (having dealt with depression and weight) that you concentrate on one of these. If you can get a handle on the smoking, the lift you will get from giving up, should help with the depression. Also you don't have to stay on the same medication if you don't think it is helping, go back to the doctors and ask for a medicine review. At the moment, I would think that stay quitted of the smoking, will be the best thing at the moment. You will be less stressed, have more money, be healthier etc.

good luck with your journey and i some of the above helps with it.
