I have just started comping again after stopping for a few months, I have not won much but mainly have won Dvds and computer games and vouchers....did win a few holidays which was nice.....
I will enter solidly for one week then stop again for a bit then do a full week and that i find is the best for me as different comps finish different times...dont tend to do many dailiesBlessed on 18th February 2014 at 0814 with little Sarah xxx0 -

I enter between 2000 and 3000 comps every month and have yet to win this month, you just have to keep trying, if we quit at the first hurdle you will never win anything.
Last year i won some exceptional prizes, this year i've won hardly anything, my first win this year was in May, but i enjoy comping so when i do get a win it's an added bonus.
Chin up and just keep trying, it will come honestBest wins 2012 - £1500 Diamond ring; 2013 - £2000 Cash; 2014 - Bathroom makeover; 2015 - £1000 TAB win; 2016 - Michael Kors Watch; 2017 - 5* Trip to India; 2018 - 10 day Canadian Rockies adventure. 2019 - Garden Rattan setThanks to all who post comps :T

I don't plan to quit anytime soon. Win or no win!! I aint to quitter ha ha!
I'm also not really expecting to win anything yet, have to give it a few months. I do quite enjoy entering and the hoping that I may win and also the anticipation when the postie arrives or an unexpected phonecall!
My chin isn't down honest. I started the thread as I was curious of the other side of the spectrum as there is already a (great) thread for winners but none for the less lucky and I thought that there should be one!
Thanks to all that have posted, it's quite interesting to hear peoples thoughts on the matter.£500, King of shaves runner up prize (book and shaving stuff)0 -

I've been comping since early 2008 - the value of my wins is in my signature. I enter very few in comparison to others (less than 100 a month) as I work full time. I have actually won very few comps where there is only one prize, most of my wins were during comps where there were multiple winners (and therefore higher odds).
There were loads of these types of comps last year (Bonkers, Magnum, Snackajacks and various Cokezone comps to name a few) but I think these types of comps have dropped off a bit this year (or at least for prizes I'd be interested in)
Good luck to all waiting for their first big win08 wins £3000+ :j09 wins £4408:j2010 (6 months off) £2004:j2011 £10,003 :j 2012 - £6013 :j2013 wins £8500 :j 2014 £5530 so far....0 -
I've been comping about a year and a half now, and I often wonder if it's worth all the hours for the return I get. I won a designer handbag last year, and this spurred me on to make comping a regular activity, but in 2010 I have only won a pair of cinema tickets and a pair of concert tickets. Considering I comp for a few hours every single day when I return home from work, this is not very much. I also roped my fiance' in to comping on a daily basis, and he has never won anything! Whilst I am grateful to everyone that posts competitions, and happy with the wins I've had, I do often wonder if I am comping my life away, when I could be doing other activities. Sometimes I think my free time would be better spent doing a yoga class, reading more books, or coming up with some kind of business plan, where there is the potential to earn money and buy lots of nice things, rather than win them. I would love to win a holiday (who wouldn't?), a wedding (there are a few wedding comps out there, and we can't afford to get married right now), or cash towards a deposit for a home. However right now, I'd even be overjoyed with a small win, like a DVD. An interesting thread. Thanks to all that have replied.0

I've been comping since my join date, enter around 100+ per day still not a button. Still window stalking my postie!
Worst part for me is my street, despite only having 7 houses has a convent a school and two care homes all within our weird little cul -de- sac. Meaning everyday with out fail I see at least one royal mail van, never for me though sigh and there are always other companys delivering and keep getting my hopes up.many thanks to all posters, wishing you all luck xxfinally got my first win, 12/09/10WINS = Sept : New Look Voucher, Plum Baby FoodOct = Plastique Skyline necklace0
