Anyone not won??

My other couple of bits of advice. Get yourself a facebook account purely for comping. There's quite a group of us on there who help each other out. Generally its a nice atmosphere but you do get some who are mean. I ignore any negativity and just focus on my comps! Dont bother entering any comps that are 'vote for me' types. You'll hardly ever win and there's always arguments and bitterness. They're truly not worth the hassle.OLYMPICS CHALLENGE :Win £2012 in 2012: 0/£2012

I have been comping on and off for two years and haven't won anything.0

Thanks for the tips MrsD! I'm similar to you dailies in the morning and multitasking tv and comping at night. I've really not sussed roboform though so just using the form filling thing on gc. August seems to be going slowly. Might try some of the bigger effort ones as you say. Good luck to you and everyone else too x0

Have been doing competitions for a year now and won 1 very small prize. Joined the site recently to see if that would help. Determined to keep going as one day in the future I may be lucky !!!0

I used to win more but then a lot of them were small prizes and since I work full-time sometimes it was more effort for me to get to the post office to collect them than some of them were worth! Plus I was filling up my house with stuff I didn't really want and kept giving away if anybody wanted it.
Nowadays I tend to only enter competitions for things I REALLY want to win so I win less but when I do win I'm really pleased.
Still waiting for that really big win but I've won a couple of thousand pounds of vouchers, tickets to events I really want to see, some furniture and lots of beauty items.0 -
Been comping since April and have had a few small wins (see sig. Except the IWOOT voucher which I won in February.) I usually do a handful of comps a day (usually somewhere between 5 and 10. Some days I don't enter more than 1 or 2.) It's good fun0

I have won quite a few things since i joined - even more since i moved to the mainland - best wins being a wii, ps3, 3 mobile phones, blue ray dvd player, 2 watches, £300 necklace, tv combi and a holiday to Tenerife which i am taking next month as we used to live there so it was a brill prize
Have also won tonnes of books, cd's, dvd's games, vouchers etc so do keep at it - i save a lot for birthdays or xmas and it saves so much money

Thanks everyone, I thought it may be a good subject to talk about even if it is a bit morbid. For me personally I started comping after talking to a mate after a night out and he told me about this website. I had never really thought about it before but I'm very much 'owt for nowt' and do love getting thing for free!!
I am waiting to start a new job offshore 5 weeks on 5 weeks off and so I have all day at the moment to do comps even though I just tend to do comps that are finishing a few days ahead. I can imagine that my time away at sea I doubt I will do that many and when I get home I will do lots.
I don't do every comp by any means but I do enter ones that I think my girlfriend or friends might like the prize of as well as ones that would satisfy my own selfish needs!! I haven't counted them up but I'm sure that in the time (about a week) that I have been doing comps I have probably done over a thousand.
I am looking forward to my first win, big or small I'm sure it will be special but by the sounds of things that first elusive win may be a way off yet!!
Anyway I look forward to reading other people's wins and non-wins.
Thanks£500, King of shaves runner up prize (book and shaving stuff)0
