Thanks for the tip Mrsd, I think I'll start entering some of the ones that require a bit more of an effort, less entries = more chances maybe? lol :D

It is lovely to see who has won and I congratulate you all. I was just curious to find out if there are any who are the opposite and who do not win?

I have only been doing this for around a weeks so I'm not bitter at all (yet) for not winning:( I'm just curious if there are any who have tried and tried only to come away empty handed?

  • Been comping since April and have had a few small wins (see sig. Except the IWOOT voucher which I won in February.) I usually do a handful of comps a day (usually somewhere between 5 and 10. Some days I don't enter more than 1 or 2.) It's good fun :)

    now u have a huge win...congrats ! xxx

For People who enter hundreds per day or thousands per month, are all the comps from mse? or do you use other comping forums? or enter comps not found on any of these forums? I only enter comps on mse if I want to win the prize but I never seem to enter as many as other people do.

I've been comping since beg of June. Not done too badly (see signature). I probably enter 4 to 500 a week. I mainly enter those that I'd consider a treat, like something I wouldn't buy myself, or weekends away and holidays. Either that, or something worth my time selling.

I sometimes feel a bit guilty at the time spent, but then again it is my time, and I'd probably be watching tv or reading, otherwise. I do enjoy it though, and a win lifts my day, so why not?

It is very addictive though! I've said i'll not give it up till i win a holiday......but there again if that does happen, i'll be totally enslaved to it lol!!:rotfl:

    Good luck all xx :)

My word that is quite a while to not have any wins!! How many do you enter a week?

I've been comping since last July and on average my prizes would equal about 1 per month. My advice is to enter competitions that appeal to you listed on here that are within your local area - I'm from Bristol and there are usually quite a few Bristol ones on the board. Less people enter these as it may be a prize like a haircut at a local hairdressers, so I think you have a bit of a better chance at winning as for most people the travel etc isn't worth it.

Keep going with it though. I even enjoy small wins I've had like a Pentel pen and Avon lipgloss because I just love things arriving in the post :)

  • I am finding it hard to keep entering these competitions. I do at least 20 a day roughly and not won a thing, am i doing something wrong?? :(

How long have you been entering for Jemma? I do about the same but I have only been entering for a few weeks.

I generally do the comps that are ending the next day but does anyone know or could hazard a guess whether that would diminish my chances as it could be 'late'?
