  • Welcome to the Newbies, and MSD so good to have you back! OH is currently making some HM lamb burgers and HM chips with the tefal actifry (seriously amazing chips that are healthy!) I am pleased as this is the first time he has cooked anything from scratch even though he is constantly fuelling his cookery book and kitchen equipment addiction! Feeling very sleepy today. My physio has recommended I start some gentle yoga, can anyone recommend any good gentle yoga dvds or yoga for older people (even though I am only 26!) as it does have to be very gentle? Hugs to everyone that needs them. I am enjoying making a card for a 70th birthday that my cleaner has asked me to make for her Mum, been working on it for 3 days now. Love to all xxxxxxxxxx
Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!

Jellybaby if you have a Wii there is a good Yoga game thing for it, which I really enjoy doing. I think I may have a Yoga DVD floating about somewhere I'll have a wee look, if so you are welcome to it!

    Afternoon all

Diva - nice to see you back!!

Well today was a wash out on the assignment side of things. As predicted I've been on the phone to various people trying to sort out the mess that my colleague will leave us in when he leaves  . I got half of one done though, so it's better than nothing I guess.

No OS either, apart from a pop to shops for some basics.

I can't decide what to make for tea. I fancy potato and cabbage cakes but can't be @rsed to peel spuds! So I'm not sure what to have.

Don't peel the spuds then Flutterby, I never peel mine, they're better for you that way!

And have a big {{{{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}}}}} for your dodgy day. X

  • *new - and a little late by the looks of it! ;)*

I've been good today, done a load of studying ready for the start of my term at uni - I don't officially start until September 6th, but I have a 2 week induction style course starting on Monday, so trying to get all the prep work done before that. I don't hugely fancy being at college 9-4, and then coming home to the revision work *and* the prep stuff, so I'm trying to be organised!

I did let myself get distracted for a while earlier, while I hunted for ideas for this years home-made Christmas presents. Last year was all knitted goodies, not sure what to do this year, I'm quite tempted by having a go at some jams, and making up little gift baskets. Luckily, I only need to do about 3 gifts plus the my brother and sisters this year, as we've already decided that extended family are only getting gifts from all of us together - so it's just my mum and step dad, my step mum and her partner, and my grandma that really need sorting now. I'll work out stuff for the teenagers later! I did some sewing too, made another 6 bags to add to the stack that are getting ready for my next craft fair. If I can't shift them all, I may use them as wrapping for Christmas - thinking about it, they'd make really nice (re-usable!) gift bags, so that's another possibility.

Just need to work out what to do for tea now, and then I can curl up with my knitting for the evening...

    Lucy :)
