Good news - Thank goodness it is Friday! I am sitting down with a nice cup of earl grey and sausages sizzling in the back ground. I have an hour to blitz my house before doing the school run and I don't have to go to work for 2 whole days.
Bad news - the cats have fleas and I don't have any money for flea treatment!
Good news - my boyfriend has bought tickets to take me out tomorrow night.
More good news - my sausages are ready! Sausage sandwich here I come!Commercial Debt £14587.22 Student Debt £7747.73

Sunday night. Sunday nightitis. Well actually, I can't really moan as the boyfriend is in the kitchen making me sausage cassoulet. Visited friend yesterday for stir up Saturday. Made yummy looking Christmas puddings so that is one thing ready for Christmas! Drank mulled apple and ginger and had a lovely afternoon with lovely friends. Had a great night out, all dressed up and far too much to drink! Woke up late with a hangover and spent the afternoon cleaning and reorganising. BF wanted to go into town for roast but no money. He offered to pay but as its something we do every fortnight it doesn't seem quite right to assume we're going and assume he's paying. Especially as things definitely aren't going to get any better this side of Christmas.
Financial dilemmas this week include:
car tax due
cats need de-fleaing
need to do grocery shopping
need to replace about £70 from my household bills account
need to pay virgin credit card bill
I haven't got any money to do any of the above. I did send an invoice last week for £110 but it hasn't been checked yet. I have another one I can send tomorrow. I am also having a drinks party on Friday for people to look at Jamie catalogue and preview crafts stuff. None of that solves the immediate problem. Any ideas how I can access that amount of cash quickly? Preferably legally.

I hope so too Ruby, although I think maybe from your point of view things look bad you strike me as a very strong woman so hang on, it will work out

Would a £1.50 flea collar from the supermarket do the trick? Alternatively flea treatment is usually much cheaper on E-bay than it is anywhere else.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Eek! Just had a mid week check of bank accounts as urgently need to shop AND need £20 for circus skills tomorrow (owed from last week) and discovered that I actually need to find £143 urgently (as in now) to stop my council tax bouncing tomorrow. Unfortunately, this is not a situation I can rectify. The wii is advertised, have several items listed on ebay and have just searched through the forums to find out about selling off my old vinyl. Have written to banks to request refund of £817 in charges. I also have a drinks party on Friday to sell Jamie at Home and crafty stuff. What more can I do?! Payday is the 30th. I have books listed, and selling on Amazon but the money arrives in my account in such small amounts it just gets absorbed. All invoices up to date but can't see that any money is going to come in before next week. I'm so fed up of bouncing items adding to my spiralling debt yet what I can do to prevent it?
I am halfway through the second of 2 14 hour days in a row and I am so tired! I've arranged to meet an old client group tomorrow evening which would be lovely but I have no money and I'm so tired! I keep telling myself that it's only 3 and a half weeks until the end of term. Just 3 and a half weeks. Then 2 weeks holiday and then the start of a new phase. Hopefully a prosperous, stable, satisfying, stimulating phase.
I'm sorry for moaning so much!Commercial Debt £14587.22 Student Debt £7747.73

Do the bills have to be paid by direct debit? Wondering if you could cancel some direct debits and pay the bills in the bank or post office when you have the money and avoiding the unpaid charges. I know this would work in Ireland but not sure if it would work where you are.
The Jamie at Home party sounds fun. Hoping that's a great night for you.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000
