If you go for this promotion could you post feedback?
Excellent idea.
I have had 4 massages and 2 free haircuts (one including colour) as a result of these promotions so far, so they are not all a waste of time and money.0 -
I requested my treatment booking last Wednesday and still haven't heard back confirmation. I thought it was supposed to be within 48 hours, but so far it's not.0

Yes, you have a good point.
One 1/2 hour massage I had in Bristol sells for £10.
I think people expecting 1 hour will be dissapointed on the whole although a few may get lucky. I have done 4 of these promotions before at different salons and always got 1/2 hour and see no reason why the therapists would need to offer more. They are doing it to introduce new clients to their services and from their point of view a 1/2 hour is a sufficient introduction.
I spent £12 on toilet rolls (didn't get there quickly enough and the 2 for 1 packs had gone).
I guess I needed the toilet rolls anyway, but you do have to wonder how much hassle you are prepared to go to.
1/2 hour massages are around £10-£30 depending on where you go, but bear in mind that some "salons" will be a mobile therapist or a lady working from her own home rather than a top beauty salon (depending of course on whether you live in big city or not), so it could be "worth" as little as £10 rather than £30 if you are treated in a house in a suburb of Bristol rather than a salon in Covent Garden.
The massage I had in Bristol was perfectly OK but it doesn't compare with the experience of visiting a salon in my opinion.
I guess it depends on what you are after.
If you are simply after an affordable massage for practical/medical reasons then it doesn't matter being in someone else's spare room, but if you want pampering and a bit of luxury then the salon is much better in my opinion.
So whilst some people seem keen to reduce the travel to the minimum, bear in mind that travelling to the nearest city could get you something better and potentially worth 3 times the price.0 -
I called their number, got a fast answer, but the guy did not have "full access to the database". So, he took all my information again and is going to email the booking department who should get back to me soon. I wanted to get this for tomorrow or Thursday so I hope they can do this soon.0

Just been in to Morrisons and the 3 for £2.50 offer has finished.
So they're now £1.81 for 2 vouchers (the 4 pack) or £7.24 for your free massage. Bizarrely in Morrisons the 9 pack actually works out more expensive per roll!
Anyone know of any offers elsewhere?
thanks

Morrisons was never 3 for 2.50. It was 2 for 3.30, which wasn't a major discount.
btw - their booking dept called me back and arranged a time on Thursday. I'll let you know how it goes!0
