Is a massage worth the destruction of ancient habitats and all the wildlife that depend on them?

Depends on the massage and depends on the ancient forest?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Andrex made by Kimberley Clarke?? The same company that Greenpeace currently have a campaign against for their clear-cutting of ancient forests to make toilet roll. We should not be buying their products at all, let alone for their special offers. Is a massage worth the destruction of ancient habitats and all the wildlife that depend on them? I think not, what about you? I have links to the Greenpeace Kleercut Campaign on my website at https://www.wildlifeservices.co.uk/linksecofriend.htm - just scroll down to just past the Welsh flag in the right hand column.
I wasn't aware of this campaign. It does sound pretty bad. Direct link: http://kleercut.net/en/theproblem

Are all other brands of toilet roll environmentally sound? No point boycotting Andrex if the other stuff is just as bad.

  • Is there any participating salons in Scotland or is it because we don't have electricity yet up here?

I also noticed on my list a couple of mobile ones. I think that I would rather be pampered at a salon rather than amongst the chaos of home but there must be a lot of people who would love a home pamperering so even if collecting the tokens for yourself is not worth it, it might be worth doing it for someone who has been stuck at home

I bought my 8 4-packs today so we can get 2 massages. Aromatherapy seems to be the most standard massage of them all. The Reiku is a "hands off" energy channeling treatment, sounds hoaky to me!

If you live in Birmingham, the Black Country or Solihull, there seems to be for aromatherapy:
various therapists mentioned (i presume these are individual people as opposed to beauty/therapy centres): halesowen, oldwinsford, walsall, wednesbury, sutton coldfield, solihull
    Holistic healing in Hockley
    Hazelwell Holistic Centre in Birmingham
    Inspired Therapies in Birmingham
A lot of the same places are mentioned for reflexology
Indecision is the key to flexibility :)
  • WOHOO!!! how lucky am i? I have a centre right near my office, and in my home town! Treatments ahoy for me, well done guys!

The Morrisons offer runs out on Sunday, I went and got my 8 packs today! Thanks for this top tip!!!

Yes near me it gives the name of the salon and the city (although for one of mine it has the city name as STREET which is wrong, it's really in Taunton).
