Grrrrr! I've lost my copy .

I have checked everywhere. Bookshelves, kitchen, storecupboard, bedside table - even the loo, and I can't find it anywhere.

I think I may have left it out and someone (wife) tidied it away. Of course, she can't remember doing so or where she might have put it.

    Oh no!

It's a bit sad, but I'm taking my book to bed to read a lot and in the morning I worry if I can't find it. I was dreading losing some of the recipes if I misplaced the book which is mad as I can easily buy another one, but, I am going to type them out and save them to my pc just in case I do the same as you and misplace it. :o

My boyfriend does that with things all the time. I look for something, ask if he's seen it and the answer's always no. Then when I eventually find what I'm looking for, it's always in a place where I wouldn't have put it. Grrrrrr... ;)

I didnt have dried 'Italian Herbs' either, but I did have mixed herbs and a jar of dried oregano. so I just used 3parts mixed to 1part oregano. tasted just fine to me! i wouldnt have worried TOO much if I had only had the mixed herbs!

They do add taste to it, I wouldn't make it without some kind of dry herbs or you may be disappointed with the end result and it may put you off making them again.

I place the kebab on a sheet of foil on a baking tray and half way through I lift the kebab off and turn it over but put a grill rack on there and rest it on that.

I have done it by just using the foill and it was fine but I worry in case it will be sitting in its own fat so put the rack on there.

You can get onion 'granules' from Lidl if you can't find the powder but I think you can get both in either Sainsburys or Tesco.

Not sure about the sweet paprika as the normal paprika gives the kebab a bit of heat which I am not sure that the sweet one has.

Ha! If I had a penny for the number of times I was going to do that I'd have about 30p :rotfl:

    That'll teach me to procrastinate.
