You need to get over yourself!! The bags were free - if you don't like them, take your own - it's not rocket science . And whats being pregnant got to do with it? Or is Tesco responsible for that too?"Men are generally more careful of the breed(ing) of their horses and dogs than of their children" - William Penn 1644-1718

I agree their bags are rubbish now. On the rare occasion that I have to use one (I normally have a rucksack as I am a cyclist but sometimes buy too much to fit in it) they get ripped within seconds by anything sharp you put in them. I wonder if it is a deliberate ploy to make them as shoddy as possible so people are more likely to use something else.0

Do you lot not read the bags?
They are even more bio-degradable and have an expiry date. I had one, left it in my car, one day (hot though) the bag had literally fallen to pieces.0 -
OP - sorry to say but you will lauh in a week or so once baby is here and realise how much of your post was fuled by hormones and not some carrierbags breaking.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

I have to agree that Tesco bags are terrible. I shop in several supermarkets and Sainsburys, ASDA and Morrisons bags are in a different class to the Tesco ones. I assume they are trying to reduce the use of plastic bags which is a good thing but its a really annoying way of doing it (particularly when you drop half your shopping). Plus on the rare occassions I forget my reusable bags I have to use about 3 times as many Tesco bags as normal ones because the are so weak. Personally, if they want to reduce bag use, I would rather see them simply charging for bags or giving away "bags for life" like Morrisions do occassionally.0

Calm
They have got worse lately, I think.
Not worth getting stressed over though, not when you're about to pop. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -
It's the same at Sainsbury's, I've just resorted to using excessive amounts of bags.
I hate the way they are trying to tunnel people into re-usable bags, it's just so people use less bags so the supermarket can save money, if they really cared about the environment they wouldn't use so much lavish packaging on their products.0
