My mum is terrified of rodents and when she found a dead rat in the garden the council sent someone out to remove it the same day because its a pest and could potentially spread disease.0

Go next door and ask neighbour nicely to dispose of it - I'm pretty sure any cat owner is quite used to removing all types of dead, half-chewed, disemboweled or rotting rodents.0

Fine if there were a family of them causing a public health issue, but a single one! Why should we have to pay for a call-out for this!!
