I'd go for the 'big strong male friend' approach - go out to the pub with all their mates and start discussing the dead rat problem - the blokes will be fighting each other to prove how macho and able to dispose of dead rats they are.0

Portsmouth is probably an ex-Polytechnic so it doesn't necessarily follow that those girly-girls have much intelligence between them.

A group of girly girls at university and they have no big strong male friends around. I don't believe it!
When I was at uni, we had a stinking, rotting dead fox in our back garden! My boyfriend (now husband) was duly summoned and did his manly duty. Surely men haven't become so wet that she can't ask one of their male (or less 'girly' female) friends?!0
