I'd go for the 'big strong male friend' approach - go out to the pub with all their mates and start discussing the dead rat problem - the blokes will be fighting each other to prove how macho and able to dispose of dead rats they are.

Take it to a politics lecture and leave it on the platform. Everyone will assume it's the guest speaker.

First of all, they're adults, secondly they must have a tiny bit of intelligence to get into Uni and thirdly it's only a flipping DEAD rat!

    Cut those apron strings now!
  • Portsmouth is probably an ex-Polytechnic so it doesn't necessarily follow that those girly-girls have much intelligence between them.

I'd be livid if my daughter phoned up in a panic about a ruddy dead rodent.

    Oi! Less of that.

Those of us who attended Polytechnics generally have far more common sense that the 'nice-but-dim Tim' types who attend red-brick Universities

That will make it taste funny though.
  • If those girly-girls has any common-sense they would have bunged Mr Ratty in the dustbin and not bothered their darling Mumsys on the phone about it.

A group of girly girls at university and they have no big strong male friends around. I don't believe it!

When I was at uni, we had a stinking, rotting dead fox in our back garden! My boyfriend (now husband) was duly summoned and did his manly duty. Surely men haven't become so wet that she can't ask one of their male (or less 'girly' female) friends?!
