LABOUR VIBES to all those in need

Great news on the scans :j

I saw my Physio today and we wrote a letter that she is letting me have tomorrow to take when I see the consultant we her recommending a sun roof for me

I also saw my counsellor at the hospital who went to the clinic for me to get them to ensure I get seen by a consultant and that I am not fobbed off like last week again

Seems very odd to think that by tomorrow I could know when little miss bump will arrive.

If i get my sun roof agreed I have lots of stupid questions would anyone who has had a sunroof before mind me PMing them with my questions?????

Fingers crossed the baby boom will happen soon for all the bold ladies sending you my thoughts and best wishes for mummy cuddles

My big pants are the next size up to what I normally wear... I think i'd avoid going 2 sizes up incase they keep falling down :rotfl:

I just take normal PJs with a lot of stretch in them for after the birth... I'm not a nightie person, much prefer jammies... And I can't bear button downs, I'm happy enough to hoik my top up for feeding... But can understand why some people would be happier with buttons...

My back is sooper aching today, alright when I'm sitting down but agony when I get up and move... Not looking forward to the school run in an hour

TBH I prefer pj too but the nightie is essential for after c-section because of the cathetar and possible drain still being in, I'm just taking a short old nightie in for that.

Midwife has booked me in for an induction Nov 11th - reality check or what!!! I'm actually going to have a baby - its finally sinking in Other half was a little miffed when I told him as its remeberance day - how inconsiderate of me :cool: (he's in the services if you didn't guess) So I'm under strict instructions to get it out by then so he doesn't miss his regimental dinner - bloody marvelous!!

Good luck Fuzz and Ladylegs - sounds like yours is progressing at last :T

Honestly, these babies are about as punctual as a Vertbaudet order.

Fuzz, ooh, you are such a baby-tease.:rotfl: That is the second time we've thought you were in labour but at least you've got some centimetres dilation under your belt now

Good news though and you shouldn't forget the day!

I'm not progressing like Fuzz - unless these BHs are the real deal and that leak yesterday meant something. Just know I'll be the one that gives birth on the loo and be one of those "and finally" news stories :eek::eek:

I have already armed myself with that ammo which is what swung it first time.

I so far have met one amazing midwife (and her student follower) who is keen as punch to do the homebirth, one MW who appears to have a degree in sadism and another who sits on the fence (i think she may just have qualified as she has never done a HB yet)

I looked in to a independent MW but thats about £2-4k:eek:

Hey you don't know that! Do you feel slightly 'airy' down there like when you're 1st pg?? I told the mw that and she said I'd probs started dilating and i had:T
I'll be one of those women too...each contraction makes me wanna poop so I gotta go sit on the toilet during them:o they're roughly around 4 hours apart now but i need to wait til tomorrow....MIL is convinced it'll be born today, I wanna prove her wrong:p:rotfl:

Ahhh, shurrup you soppy cow;):p Don't think I'll graduate to parent thread properly...will probs just keep checking in here and use the PT for help if I need it:o I really need to wean myself off MSE, I don't get anything done!:rotfl:
