Labour Vibes to all those in need
Welcome to all the new ladies :j
MV - I to am having a !!!!!! time from work when I am not even there :mad: I got a letter about my pay this month to be told that I am only being paid SSP this month and when i queried it with my boss was told " Normal wage has always and will always be at the discretion of the Partnership"
Well if I had a contract I would know that wouldn't I but as I don't how the **** am I supposed to know. My Reply was -
Thank you for the clarification.
As I am not in receipt of an up to date contract. I was not aware that this was the situation and therefore please excuse my confusion by the contents and amounts as per your letter.
Honestly I really don't need all this carp at the moment.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Sorry for the rant
Hi tinks
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this will be the caseCSP is always at the discretion of "the management". Although it is very carp that you weren't made aware of this.
Did you get a reply?

Hi fluffy! Feels a bit strange to be welcoming you when I only got here last night but an extra hello is always niceCongrats on your good news xxx
As for the stuff you'll need... You don't actually need half the things the shops tell you, we got just about everything for my first child, ended up using about a third of it!
On our list to get before Bubs arrives there is...
Bottles (I had trouble BFing DD, they were on offer, and handy to have in case of expressing)
Steriliser
Moses basket (I know lots of people don't bother with these, but you can get them cheap enough, ours is going to stay in the lounge)
Cotbed/crib/mattress and bedding
Pram/car seat (we're hoping to get a travel system so it's all in one but that depends on cost!)
Clothes, clothes, clothes!
Nappies/wipes
Bibs
Socks/scratch mitts
Baby nail clippers
Teething 'things' (not needed straightaway but we seem to have bought some already!)
Cot mobile/nightlight
Baby shampoo/soap (Johnson's bedtime bath was invaluable and we still use it now, DD's 7!)
And that is about it for the stuff I can remember was actually used!
There's also the "non-essentials but come in handy"
Changing mat
Baby bath
Vibrating/bouncy chair (people swear by them but my DD hated hers!)
High chair (when Bubs is a bit older obviously)
Bottle warmer
Baby monitor (never came out of the box)
Erm, think that's everything, sorry for the huge list and I've probably forgotten lots of essential things but that's all I can think of for now - someone else will be able to advise you better
Hope everyone has a good weekend xxxxxAll horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

Hello everyone,
I haven't read back I'm afraid, I'm just too tired, I was doing ok up til this afternoon when I seem to have just gone in on myself, I have managed for the last few days to keep busy but I asked my mum and dad to go home today thinking I would be able to cope on my own, I am coping, but I'm just emotionally worn out, just don't want to talk to anyone. I should have got some paperwork done today, but just run out of time, must try to so it in the morning. I'm taking ds shopping for some new shoes.
Saw midwife at home she was surprised by how well I'm doing, think she would think I was more normal if she saw me now!
To top it off my throat seems to have got some bacterial infection, so I'm losing my voice and I'm in pain.
Anyway I'm not going to bring you all down with me!

Twoflower honey, you are being so brave. Are your parents near enough to be able to come and stay again if you need them?
Don't worry for a moment about bringing anyone down on here..we all want to be here for you in any way we can.
I'm so desperately sorry for your loss XXXMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Early evening power-snooze for me chaps.
I didn't get Take That tickets but had 5 people ask me was I going? I know I'm a bit of a concert go-er (twice to TT for the Circus tour in 3 days!) but I'm going to have my hands tied up a bit this next tour. I'll buy the DVD.
I did manage to get 3 for a colleague (5 mins on Ent24 this aft Dusty) and when I went to deliver the confirmation to her, she asked why I wasn't going so I told her. She's over the moon bless her. Officially telling work on Monday.
MV, do you think you are being unfairly treated due to being PG? Reason I ask is that you still accrue hols etc when you are on leave....why shouldn't you receive a proportion of your bonus? I'd ask HR. They're not allowed to victimise you and maybe you need to highlight that?0 -

I did have quite a deep one but its a lot shallower now - don't worry I'll definitely be on here to freak out if it does become an outy.
Twoflower, you are allowed to feel whatever you want, whenever you want and a mixture of things all at once too. And if you need to share them here then do.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Apparently it's in my contract Fanta, and to be honest I just don't have the energy to fight them over it.
It is really unfair, but I've worked there long enough that I shouldn't be surprised really.

Just a quick hello from me, I think i have the computer mended, well a little anyway
Congrats on the births, sorry haven't had time to read back to cover all week!
Hugs to Twoflower, you sound so strong, as everyone else has already said i hope that we can help support you through this very very tough time.
My bump has dropped and it feels like the bean engaged two days ago, so walking around is now quite difficult! Oh well, not long now, Midwife seems to think it will arrive early. Just to say i never did get the emergency scan, but MW and i agree that everything now seems fine.
Labour vibes to all those in bold!
Hope to be back on regularly, very soonLeopardlady
