Merfe yes I seem to have really grown this last week. My belly almost sticks out more than my boobs now so its just becoming more comfy to fall asleep on my side now but I still wake up on my belly! I do think its down to my foam topper though as i did my back in this week and tried laying on my laminate floor on my belly to do an exercise and it hurt.....a lot :eek:0

I'm with you there Ladylegs, I think partly the reason I didn't want to know the sex was the dread of getting sucked into the whole pink/blue/pastel thing.
Sammy-girl its not just biege and yellow, there's a whole rainbow of colours that only babies (of either sex) can get away with.
All the best for tomorrow SweatyBetty. Looks like we're in for a bumper load of announcements in the coming days.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
GL tomorrow Sweaty Betty
Just been catching up and wanted to add I thought the maxi cosi car seat was brilliant. Its what im planning on getting this time, though i've no idea where its going to go in the car.
I have a Zafira though rarely use the boot seats as I need the boot for the double pram. I have 2 quite large car seats on the back seats already, though thankfully my 9 yo is skinny enough to fit between them.
Sorry to hear you may have to have a CS Emsy.
When i told my consultant I wanted a natural birth she laughed at me and said no way! I dont think she was aware of my stubborn streak till she read last years birth notes and has relented to allow me to try. (last year I spent my pregnancy in hospital with a major placenta previa and CS was only option)
I had my second CS just over a year ago and run the risk of the scar rupturing. Anyone else have any experience of VBA2CS especially a recent CS?
I've googled it, though its mostly american stories, i suspect thats because its so strongly advised against by the doctors.0 -
Good luck tomorrow Sweaty Betty!!
Rant alert - been round MIL's today as was getting stir crazy on my own at home. Anyway, she was waiting for some plummers to come round and give her a quote for the bathroom, two of them turned up with one of their daughters who is about 10. Sat chatting with the girl while they were quoting bathroom and the girl turns round and tells me she is full of spots on her back, stomach and legs:eek:
Gob smacked when it was time for the blokes to leave I said to the girl that I hoped she got better soon and she didn't get anymore spots. One of the chaps turned round and said "I hope you don't get them either" I turned round and said "I bl00dy hope not coz I'm 5 months pregnant!"
What goes through some peoples minds to take poorly kids round folks houses? He obviously knew that she was spotty or he wouldn't of said anything. I was so mad when they left, I know rationally that they didn't know I was there and maybe he didn't have anyone to look after the girl but really! MIL wasn't impressed either. BTW this was in the evening and not during school time.
OH says I'm over-reacting, to which I said probably but I'm pregnant and I'm allowed to over-react! Just hope its nothing too sinister and I hope DD doesn't get whatever it is.
I should be ok though thinking about it, I didn't get anywhere near the girl although DD did play with her for a little while, I'll have to keep my eye on here!
Another worry for me to worry about!
On a happier note, I won a snowsuit on Ebay last night for £3.20 which will do nicely for trip home from hospital but MIL said the ones in Asda are lovely so might get one of them as well.Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -

ooh, good luck, SB. Yet another baby! Is this 4 or 5 this week?I'm with you there Ladylegs, I think partly the reason I didn't want to know the sex was the dread of getting sucked into the whole pink/blue/pastel thing.
I have to confess, Mi3, I actually did want to know but baby wasn't playing on scan day and hid their naughty bits from the camera.:o
Sammy, I wasn't prepared for being on Team Yellow (but it's okay) although hopefully you'll have an obedient baby that flashes all the equipment.0 -
Sarah I would call your midwife. There is a risk if you are pregnant and come into contact with Chicken Pox - am not trying to worry you but I would just call and check what you need to do in case this is what the child has got.
Good luck for tomorrow Sweaty Betty hope it all goes well for you. Looks as if we are going to have lots of people having mummy cuddles over the next couple of days
I still can't decide whether to find out the sex at our 20 week scan. OH wants to but I'm unsure - have been looking at the neutral clothes and as I hate yellow and OH hates green our choices would be even more limited. I have just over 5 weeks to decide - I wish the 20 week scan would hurry upOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -

Thanks Fairy, I did ask the girl and she said that she already had chicken pox but will ring my midwife tomorrow for reassurance.
However I had chicken pox as a child so I would probably be immune.Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -

and I can't and I was breastfed.
I'm team yellow and we're not really buying much in the way of clothes. Nursery is Winnie the Pooh (well eeyore) themed which is neutral anyway. We bought a lemon/cream bedding set for £18 from Tesco which will do for baby when he/she arrives and we can choose a more suitable colour after.
I'm hoping to breastfeed so all I've got is a manual breastpump which comes with one bottle and that's all I plan on having (only got that because it was a bargain). Can always buy stuff after baby is born.
sarahangel - there's some good info here about chickenpox: http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/antenatalhealth/physicalhealth/chickenpox/Baby Giz born 6/2/110
