    Morning,

5 days over and still no sign... although felt absolutely shattered yesterday, which I was hoping might be a sign as a few friends claimed they felt the same just before!!

What's with all the queue jumpers!!! :rotfl: Labour vibes and best wishes to you all, hoping some of your labour dust comes my way soon!

Ethelsmum - thinking of you particularly again today, hope all is well and just maybe you're having mummy cuddles.

Right I'm off for a cup of RLT!!!

    Good luck Rach.

I'm just waiting for oh to get home then off to the hospital - I think my waters have been trickling since about 8.30 (right before the school run  - I've never walked back so fast!). I'm group b strep postitive so need to get checked out.
    Not having any contractions though.

I hope baby decides to make an appearance today - 6 days overdue now and spent most of yesterday an emotional wreck.

Ooh must have been typing at the same time!!! All the best!!! xxx

  • Glad to hear that it all went well at your scan GFH have been waiting for you to join us :)

Welcome to Mrsmoc and to any other newbies who’s names I may have missed (this thread moves so quickly!)

Rach I really hope this is it for you now sorry that OH wasn’t very supportive last night I think sometimes they say things without realising just how they sound. Hopefully by the end of today you will be a mummy - can’t wait for an update!

Ethelsmum Oh my goodness it sounds as if today may be the day for you too. Good luck!!!!

Nothing much going on here – really not in the mood for work today would’ve been quite happy to stay in bed all snug under my duvet.

For all those looking for a nice snow suit – I saw a gorgeous one in Matalan which was cream with beige motifs and was a kind of fleecy material although not really, really thick it be warm enough for the late winter/early spring months. I think it was about £10 – it was gorgeous I very almost brought one as I thought it would make a nice going home outfit for Tadpole.

I was just wondering if any of you ladies who are a bit further on (24 – 30 weeks) would be willing to volunteer for a bump shoot? I’m trying to set up my own photography business and want to try my hand at some maternity pictures so I can add them to my portfolio – unfortunately none of my friends are pregnant so I can’t approach any of them. I would obviously give you copies of any images I took free of charge. I am fully CRB checked as I work in a school so no need to worry there. If you are interested you can PM me :)

Rubbish day today – chucking it down with rain :( totally different to yesterdays blazing sun!

    Good Luck RACH

MS12 hope all is going well for you today thinking of you.

I am just home from the hospital and now the owner of a nice sexy corset (NOT) and a pair of crutches!!! It seems that the inflamation in my pelvis is so bad that I ahve been told to stay in bed or in a upright chair for the next 3 and half days to calm things down before they can start treating the SPD.:o
If you can think it........it will happen
  • Good Morning Ladies,

Massive labour vibes to Rach, Ethelsmum and jmf76. Hope you all get mummy cuddles soon (hope I haven't missed anyone!)

Tinks - Sorry to hear about the SPD and bedrest - that sucks :(

Hngrymummy - Did you find out what flavour you're having?

Off to the Job Centre for me - JCP waits for no pregnant lady ;). I wonder if they will still want me to apply for the Xmas Grotto job like they did last week - mind you that might be quite fun :)

    oooh good luck ethelsmum xxx

Well I've just received a letter through for a follow up consultant appointment at my local hospital not with the diabetic team so they must have decided I don't have gestational diabetes this time after all, I don't know. I might have to ring up and make sure just incase the receptionist has made an appointment by mistake although it's easier for me to keep having my appintments here.

Fairy I wouldn't mind but I think Kent is a bit far from you

    Morning all

Tink - ouch - I can only sympathise but rest is the best thing you can do, really hope it eases for you soon.

Maybe there is something in the full moon thing then? Good luck ladies, speedy labour vibes for all of you!!

I had the best nights sleep last night and actually woke up pain free for the first time in 2 months until I went to the physio and after the treatment I ache like hell :( but only on my left hand side.
She said the rest I'm having is doing my SPD the world of good and I can put off having crutches for another few months if it doesn't flare up again but I'm going to be really careful in pacing myself.

My DD said this morning I would look like Santa by Christmas time, cheeky little whatsit! LOL
