I've read a couple of articles about it, it doesn't seem common, I will ask my midwife next time I'm there

Cat - ninewells has not long had the pools installed, I doubt they would of if there was a massive infection risk to mum or baby. I found this in the british medical journal http://www.bmj.com/content/309/6953/511.full

Yeah I read that too, problem is my boss works at Ninewells! I will speak to her again about it, I'm trying not to worry too much, the articles seem to say that there is as much risk giving birth on a bed as in a pool.
  • Right, breastfeeding bras.

I'm 37 weeks and thinking about buying a couple. I'm a 38 DD at the moment, boobs haven't grown much this time around. Do I buy the size I am now or allow a cup size bigger for when milk comes in? It's a mothercare range of bras being sold new through ebay but I am a bit clueless.

That verbaudet code was a really good offer, damn my odd size crib, I love the purple fitted sheets.

shelly - I am an F cup so large anyway but after 3 days my boobs were huge even by my standards. One cup size wouldn't cut it for me.

Cat - it would be interesting to know if she is speaking from experience of ninewells or generally. Do you work in the lab there? if so you have my blood from daycare yesterday :) make my results ok please.

Wow Catwoman, what a job! lol ;)

Thanks for the vertbaudet code... I've just ordered a duvet cover and pillow for DD2... It's unisex so should suit the baby too... I signed DH up because they're such a ridiculous price and you have to buy them seperately lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
