There you go ladies. I can stop complaining now :D

Baby Girl Clark born 7.04am weighing 9lbs 1.5ozs. That little .5oz makes all the difference ;)

We're all home now AND!!! *dances around* I didn't tear :D I have little grazes but nothing that needed stitches :D

Smartie! You need to get that baby out! Both pools are now working so I got me a water birth :D

So what exactly helped me along I hear you ask. Digging up mums potatoes in her veggie patch. :D :rotfl:

    :eek::j:j:j:j:j :D Congrats!!!!

Don't mention the birth pools!!!! GOT to have a section... so unless the surgeon wants to do it under water (:rotfl:) I won't be going near them:(

I'd rather go through what nature intended than have major surgery:p

Ha ha - right that's it I'm buying my pram suit! :p

I worked out that the pram, carrycot, car seat and 2 bases comes to £850  Is it worth it? So far we've bought/planning to buy nothing but second hand. And I feel like I want to spend some money and spoil myself and baby. I know we won't spend a lot on the cotbed - about £100. There's still the matress and bedding which is quite pricey. And nappies of course.
:eek::eek: That seems a fortune to me, BUT if you know it's what you want then go for it. What are you thinking of getting? Pushchair (i've gone for a maclaren xt as need an umbrella fold for where we live plus I plan to use slings too) is one of the few new things we've bought.

Can I have a rant...I'm getting fed up of the negativity from people about my choice to use reusable nappies :( The sort of comments I get is "I'll give you two weeks". Can someone who's used reusables give me some reassurance? I can't see how difficult it is putting a wash of nappies on every other day...but maybe I'm really naive?
I've had a bit of that too, but there are plenty of people who prefer them. I just say 'well, let's just see how it goes' or similar. I have loads of friends who have used them successfully. My mum told me I'd need a tumble drier when the baby comes. Errr, no. It might be useful but I won't need one!

    Which pushchair are you getting?

I have succesfully used washables for 2 babies so far and in about 6 months I shall be using them on a baby and a toddler simultaneously... People are idiots... There's something about having a baby that makes people think they have a right to pass comment... Ignore them!

No more bleeding today... It wasn't much, just a couple of wipes worth, not even worth a pantyliner... I'm thinking it was just an old bit of blood that's dislodged... I've got my 16 week appointment a week on Tuesday so if nothing else between now and then I'll mention it to the midwife...

Been to church this morning, was so nice to go... Haven't been since the morning sickness started! Trouble is, I can't sit on hard chairs when pregnant, I end up with a seized up back so waddle for a few steps until it eases up and now it just aches... There is a new "welcome zone" part at the back though so I suppose when it gets really bad I can see if those chairs are better...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Congrats Nene

    No word of kitkat ??

I've posted my birth story - not quite the glorious birth I was expecting but it was ok and we are both safe so that is the main thing

    Hope everyone is well
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:
