I just feel a bit strange/guilty posting being so near the end and knowing there's LOTS (:eek:) of ladies behind me with months to go:o

Plus today I'm on a bit of a downer:( I knew it would hit me that I'm not getting the birth I wanted from day 1 (hypno/stay at home as long as poss/birth pool etc) and I'm worried about going into labour before the 7th and having to rush in. Period pains are getting worse and I'm panicing that I won't go to hosp at the right time. Or too late in labour in which I've been told I'll probably wont be awake for section:eek:

I am absolutely petrified about the birth, so much so I can't even think about it. I know we need to look at the hospital and go to the class things there but I can't even bear to open my notes and find out when they are. I'm so organised about everything else but literally petrified

We used the One LIfe all in ones until DS was about 8/9 months old. As someone else said they are fine as long as you remember to put a wash on. We used to wash every other day. I have a few problem when DS to about 3 months old as it was starting to wet through them at night so put him in disposables at night, but did buy some additional bamboo inserts, which were good for long journeys or out and about in the day.

I "worse" thing I found with them was clothes. DS went through clothes sizes much quicker and some clothes styles just wouldn't go over his nappy at all, but that was a minor thing. I loved seeing his big cloth cover bum, we even had photos done when he was 4 months old and made sure we had the cloth napies in them, soooo cute.

I plan on getting them out again for this baby, but will have to see how we go as this baby will be a winter baby and DS was born in August so might find its more difficult to get them dry. If we decide against using them, I there is a really good resale value on them so will recoup some of the cost.

Wind or baby??

I keep getting odd twitches in my tummy, a bit like wind, but I'm not always convinced that it is wind (although it is right now!!). I'd like it to be sproglet making itself known, although I'm worried that I might be trying to imagine things that aren't real yet. I'm 16+5, so is there a chance it's baby??

Baby Girl Clark born 7.04am weighing 9lbs 1.5ozs. That little .5oz makes all the difference

We're all home now AND!!! *dances around* I didn't tear I have little grazes but nothing that needed stitches

Smartie! You need to get that baby out! Both pools are now working so I got me a water birth

So what exactly helped me along I hear you ask. Digging up mums potatoes in her veggie patch. :rotfl:
