When you ladies are talking about high BP - what kind of readings are there?

I do hope that there are some on the list having cuddles right now :D

Big hugs courgette and good luck for tomorrow sir m

    xx

tigtag - my bp readings have been low this time compared with my 1st pregnancy. I was 150/100 in the hospital the other day (blaming it on the curry I went out for the night before :rotfl:), as my bp had been normal up until then lol. MW just called to take it and says it's 140/92, not great but just to watch out for other symptoms of p/e. 1st pregnancy my Bp I remember the reading being away up at 118 for the bottom reading.

10 days for Smartie too

My goodness this year is flying past!
Yes it is...if I remember rightly when I joined the TTC thread Smartie was getting her congrats for her BFP.

I hope September is a big month for the TTCers, it feels like the BFPs have been quiet this month.

    MV - nice bump :D

Fuzz - love your timeline :)

Wl - Thanks fro your reply, I dont have family nearby, also every thing I need to get ready is in the bedroom, normally I get it all out in another room the night before but was just too tired last night, most of my friends are busy cos of long weekend, and ds is toliet training so trying not to go to far from the loo! I may try in a bit to get sorted, the thing is I make myself feel worse cos so much needs doing all over the house and it just hasn't been done as I was so unwell in the first 4months, so I just don't start anything, dh must be fed up of living ina pigsty!
Don't worry about the state of the house. When I was bad I used to give myself one thing to achieve a day ie wash the floor, ironing and if I got it done then I felt a sense of achievement and a boost if I didn't it was only one thing I hadn't done. I just ignored the rest, try not to think about it (I know its easier said than done) Can the kids help out at all, just small things? The beginning of pg can be crap can't it. I wasn't too sick this time, but last time lost 3/4 of a stone in the first 12 weeks so trying to get the bear minimum done was hard enough, work in my case, nothing else happened at all. If your DH is that fed up living in a "pigsty" then he'll do something about it.

I haven't tried heat, physio said to try ice. I'll try and get a heat pack today...DH is being sent to boots to get me some more stretch mark oil (i lurve the sanctuary one)...so I will ask him to look. Where did you get yours from? I can only see those one use ones online.

re blue badge - To be honest it probably just depends on who reviews your blue badge application, it will just be a team of people at the council. I'd phone up your local council and ask to speak to someone in the team, it's worth a try.

Mines a StayWarm one which I got from a local Chemist its filled with Cherry stones and stays warm for about half an hour, more if I take it to bed. There are loads of varieties out there, but I'm not so fussed on the gel packs very much or the smelly ones, I can't bare lavendar!

I'm going to call the council on Monday see what they say!

Welshlassie, if they were that consistent in the council, it'd be boring, I think they like to change their minds oohhhh every 5 mins, can you appeal the decision and do you have any paperwork relating to your last application. I've never had to apply for one, so don't know what's involved.

Unfortunately I've not got my last application, but my physio completed the medical part of the form they same as last time. I didn't keep anything last time as I was hoping I wouldn't need it again. There's nothing on the letter about appealing it but I'll call on Monday and see what they say. I'm so much worse than last time and can't believe they have said no, especially as I didn't expect to get it last time.

We haven't long got back from St Fagans, I borrowed a wheelchair while there, which made it much easier to get around, although poor DH had to push me up and down the hills. The kids enjoyed having a ride though occasionally. I felt like such an idiot, but the one time I walked anywhere (to the toilet) I was in pieces again by the time I got back. On max dose pain killers today and I'm still in a lot of pain. I know its worse today because of physio yesterday, but it doesn't make it any easier to deal with. I absolutely shattered and just want to go to bed, but know I won't sleep there so no point.

Happy birthday claire, there may well have been some births, we just might not know about them yet!

I have finally cleared the cot out (some of the stuff is now on the floor but still... moses basket covers ironed and put back on, need a rest now then I will wipe the cot all down before I make it up (i know it's too early but I want it to look nice!). Lady has also just popped round with a cot mobile i was buying from her - perfect condition, jungle one from mothercare for £5. And bless her when I said getting about was quite hard she said she'd keep it in the car and phone me when she was nearby sometime - she just phoned and thankfully DH had a fiver in his pocket! Mian problem is of course only managing about 2 minutes before sitting down again!!

  • Baby Ronan was born last night at 8.45 weighing 7.1 ended up going on my own as labour ward was so busy they were delaying inductions. Labour was 4 hours 1 minute and everything went well. Small graze and a few stitches but apart from that everything was perfect. I'll read back to see what you lot have been up to as hospital didn't have Internet access.
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:
