Blood results confirmed my suspicions. I was permanently exhausted but not pregnant, so went for a blood test. Iron tabs (they told be to take 3 a day, I only took one, just made my poo black (TMI) didn't really get constipated) for about 3/4 months sorted me out and lots of green leafy vegetables, although Asda do cruchie nut barn flakes, which have a huge amount of iron in them, a bowl of that and a glass of orange juice for a months also helped.

DON - just wondered if you got anywhere with the job you were after? I have an interview for the job I went for next week, I let them know up front that I am pregnant, and they said they looked forward to receiving my application :D

Hi, I didn't apply in the end but am pleased you have got something, hope it all goes well for you with your interview - best wishes! :D

  • I'm another one that hates blood tests, in the last week due to being admitted had to have 3 tests two from my left arm in a few days which has a lovely bruise now and one from my right hand which hurt like hell!! Also they are so carp in getting back the results, when I was admitted I had an 'urgent' blood test which was meant to be back in an hour this was on Tuesday at 4ish but they didn't check it until Thursday then decided to do another one!! Had one done as requested on Saturday, but still don't know what the result is, not sure why they bother to be honest!
