Pleased to see that others are receiving the free pen too.

Not a bad little pen actually but I found no mensh of the freebie in the paperwork.

Must admit that a few of the CSRs at neat ideas seem to think the free scales are paid for from their own wages. Still, what qualifications do you think you need to get a job there?

Thanks so much OP for this post. Just had highlighter pens delivered with a free pen and TWO sets of scales. :j

I had given up on this freebie as when I rang up, I was told the item I was ordering (the ruler) was not in the correct catalogue. I then ordered online and got the email saying that I wasn't a business customer. I then faxed an order yesterday for the highlighter pens and SURPRISE!!!! the order has just been delivered. I did not think that they had received my fax as I have not had any acknowledgement for this order.

Perhaps they have given me two sets of scales to make up for being not that nice to me on the phone!

The whiteboard I ordered yesterday arrived today, with free scales and free pen. The scales were 100% accurate compared to our brass weights.

I can back you up mate. I got the mini cat through on Monday. Called the freephone number and ordered 4 x 30 page document holders(reduced from £2.49 to 29p each). Order came to £3.60ish. Got the free scaled and they are lovely. I also got the free picnic bag with all the contents and bottle cooler attachment last month by ordering a 39p pritt stick(copy).

I wish people wouldn't slate others for posting as it makes you want to keep your tips to yourself(which is why i didn't bother posting this in the first place).

Maybe they were one tenth out because you were using "Analog" weights on Digital scales

I don't blame the OP for getting shirty with you. Maybe if you had ordered and then not received the scales then you would be more qualified to comment. Why are people so quick to shoot others tips down in flames. Give OPs a break.

I cancelled my account with them today. One order delivered out of four actually placed is !!!! poor in anyones book!

I placed an order and when it didnt arrive i phoned them and the lady came out with aload of excuses and then finally said it was because i wasnt a business, I told her i was asked if it was personal or business at the time of order and i had clearly stated it was personal the lady had then taken my order and all my details an told me it would be with me next day, to this she appologised and came out with another load of excuses for their incompetence staff:o So well done to those that got:o

I faxed them an order for 2 glue sticks as per your post and the scales were delivered with a free pen the following morning. Fantastic. I've now put the scales to good use making biscuits (I got the receipe from MSE Old Style board). Yummy...
