I have just tried with the craft knife code but she said that this code did not come from the correct catalogue. I tried then with the ruler code but she said I could not use that either. She then said to ring backwith an actual item from the catalogue if I wanted the free gift.

Help......

For all the people who are ordering through the net -
I ordered a glu stick to get the speaker system from Neat Ideas. i did it through the internet. it took a couple of days but the gift did not come even though it was clearly mentioned on the order confirmation. when i called to complain they came up with a story to say that the gift is only applicable to phone orders. Severla more calls and a harsh email later I was able to get the gift.

So my advise to those who have ordered through the net - please call Neat Ideas and confirm that they have got your order and that they are sending the free gift with the order. just so that you can avoid some hassle later on

And if you get a snotty operator then hang up and try again.

It's a bit of 'pot luck' who answers and what attitude they have, I'm afraid, so don't be put off trying.

There are some extremely nice people there as well as a few ar$eh@les.

I can't even be bothered to call. I deal with snotty gits all day and I haven't got the patience to trying "pot luck" this evening. If my gifts don't turn up I shall return the rather expensive rulers for a refund.
