Well I have been lurking for a while but just registered today. I've found it a great help and to be honest not sure if I could have got even this far without the support, whether that is people actually replying to me or others just sharing their stories in threads I've been reading.
It's really early days for me but you are right, today I feel like I've done a good days work! Tiring though, so I think I will have an early night!0 -
Im so glad to see that and i hope the next few weeks are a nice journey for you

I'm new to MSE too, been reading your thread today and wanted to post to wish you the best of luck and say well done for starting your journey. Small steps but each one vitally important to reach the end.
Will subscribe to the thread to see how you get on.
Aren't the stories on here inspiring, they've made me take a good hard look at myself

Yes they are! And they make you feel that you aren't alone.
I said I was having an early night an hour ago. Damn the internetz. :rotfl:0 -
Hi Rak2,
Don't worry about the piles of mail you've opened today, as the important thing is you've now opened it and are on the road to sorting it out. The overlimit and late charges are something I remeber all too well, but some of the companies may refund the charges if you call them. Well done on starting to deal with the mail and remember, advice/support are always widely available on the forum. If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

I shredded 17 full size bin bags the day after I got out of hospital the last time. No word of a lie. Not because I'd been in hospital for ages, I'd only been gone two weeks, but because I had let it all go for so long.
Just popping in to  at everyone - and offer encouragment and hugs.
.....Erm, I have to confess..... after I binned all the rubbish post - I also went on to have a massive declutter. There was 36 black bags in total and I think the binmen had a hernia.:D I couldn't stand the mess, the dirt, the damp that these piles of carp attracted any longer. My doctor offered counselling to help with the breakdown but I refused. My `therapy' was clearing and re-renovating the house. I remember listening to Radio Five live and the Beijing Olympics feeling really happy as I painted, and laid wooden floors and what have you, thinking this is my new life.
I haven't looked back since.......
Love Sassers x
