Plusnet is a good choice, virgin national is poor not to be confused with 'virgin cable' which is a lot better'

Well I signed up with Plusnet, for £12.99 a month, first three months free and will get £38 cashback

Rang Virgin to get MAC code was passed too customer relations who offered me £7.50 a month for same package

I said it was ok I would accept the offer and then changed my mind....because I only really wanted to get MAC code

Was then told I would be charged £90 cancellation fee and will have to wait 3-5 days for MAC code

So through my stupidity I end up saving nothing

No they don't, that only applies if you disconnect without a MAC-see reply to your other post.
