Really? So why did you wait over 3 years before posting?

    Hi jmle101,

I've checked this and it looks like your original order is still on it's way to you according to the Royal Mail tracking, very strange as most recorded items arrive with the customer within 1-3 days. The 25 days before you can contact us regarding a missing delivery is because 9 times out of 10 the item will arrive within this time period and we can't take any action with Royal Mail until after this time.

I can see we've already processed a replacement order for you which will be completed shortly. It is highly likely that your original order will either be returned here or will arrive with you after it has worked its way through the postal system.

    Thanks for your help.

Only issue is I've been waiting since 17th of April for the glasses and it's going to take another 2-3 weeks to get them. Meaning I'll have waited 3 months for glasses sent from the UK!

I've had to buy another replacement pair in the meantime otherwise I'd be blind!

I appreciate the post issue, but your terms (where its considered reasonable to have to wait 3 months for a prescription item if one is lost in the post) and unhelpful customer service responses on the ticker system when I've asked for a refund (because I need a pair of glasses to see and have had to buy a replacement pair from somewhere else in the meantime) have put me off using SelectSpecs in the future.

Either using a better postal system (special delivery instead or recorded delivery) that tracks items at each stage, or an acceptance that your terms, i.e. waiting 3 months for delivery, (which includes the 25 working day policy for lost items) are not reasonable, would be a huge start.

To all those forum members who called me a liar because of my lack of posts, shame on you.

Nobody called you a liar. You said you only signed up to this site to complain about Selectspecs. You signed up to MSE in Oct 2007, which is way before you ordered from Selectspecs.

You signed up to MSE in Oct 2007. You didn't order from Selectspecs until April of this year. You said you only signed up to this site specifically to complain about Selectspecs. Something's not right there.

Is it any wonder anybody would have difficulty believing what you say?

I repeat, nobody has called you a liar.
