Dry fry or cook with a little oil. Add it to water if you wanna make soup !!!
Quorn has taken over our lives since the local supermarkets started reducing it due to lack of interest.
make sure you donot over cook it though as it then tastes like card board !!LBM - Oct - 08 DMP Started - Feb -09

Hi mardatha,
There's an earlier thread that should help so I've added your post to it to keep the replies together.

Mardatha - quorn will absorb only a little more water than meat mince. It's the realeat veg soya mince in a green pack that needs loads of water, the amount you end up with is almost frightening lol!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000

Hi guys,
Was thinking of buying quorn mince as Im not a big fan of meat mince.
Any ideas on how many meals I can make with 700g of it? Just for two of us?
Will be using the old lentil trick too!:j This year is my year 2009 :j0 -
Just to add, you may want to look up what quorn is before you eat it!
I have had it before in the sausage form which I thought was ok.
All Quorn products contain mycoprotein. Mycoprotein is a nutritious member of the fungi family, as are mushrooms and truffles. There are lots of great things about mycoprotein which very few people know, here are just a few:- Mycoprotein is naturally low in fat
- Mycoprotein contains very few calories, so we can bring you foods which taste great but which don’t max out on the calorie content
- Mycoprotein also contains essential dietary fibre, which helps to maintain a healthy digestive system
- Mycoprotein doesn't contain any cholesterol whatsoever, so eating Quorn products as part of a balanced, low fat diet can help to maintain normal cholesterol levels, which can help keep your heart healthy
- Mycoprotein is completely meat free
:j This year is my year 2009 :j0
