when they go back to school I'll check through all their toys, clear them out and anything that hasn't been played with or coloured in I will keep aside and wrap for them. They're none the wiser and this has worked for the last 6 years!!
Am liking your style!!!:TTrying hard...failing miserably

I haven't posted here before...is this where I post my exciting (I am soooo excited!!) finds for gift hampers? I have just started my shopping and am gonna go hampertastic this year!
Asda have 1 ltr kilner jars for £1, is that good? It sounds cheap to me!
Karen
Hi Karen
£1 is the cheapest I have seen 1 litre jars. I have bought them to do "cookies in a jar" as part of a baking hamper I am making for DD2. If you look around the same area in Asda, they also sell a pack of 3 slightly smaller kilner jars for £2.50 which I have used for my jams and chutneys (bought them all last week when they had their 20% off homeware offer)
Looking forward to reading about your finds0 -
I posted this another thread....
I have been to poundland and poundworld and stocked up on all kinds of goodies.
Got a cafetierre in p/land and Douwe Egberts coffee and a tin of fancy coffee wafers in p/world to go in my coffee hamper.
There are these pink baskets in P/land called flexibaskets, they are about 30cmx20cm oval shaped am gonna use these for girlie pamper style hampers and got head massagers, pink nail files (6 for £1) all from pound land. Then in Wilkos got face cloths (31p), scrubby things (49p), foot pumice (£1). Putting them in with some pink fluffy socks from primark (£1) and will prob finish off with a little bottle of Rose (will wait for a 3 for 2) and a sachet of face masque from boots (will wait for a 3 for 2), maybe some scented candles! Any other suggestions welcome.
Also got a cocktail shaker in poundland but not sure where that will go yet....might keep it for making myself a celebratory Mai Tai!
Not sure if I am even on the right lines with this as I have never done hampers before but I DO love a bargain!!
Ooh...also got some self adhesive dots in poundworld for the wrapping 350 for a £1 I think.Trying hard...failing miserably
