Thanks for letting us know anniebanannie, vital info there. I have a home BP machine and I know Lloyds pharmacy near me does a lot of free checks too such a BP, cholestrol & diabetes. Always best to check.

Hi everyone - just back from a neighbours Oriental Night! Now I have got to organize my 14 & 12 year olds to get ready for school tomorrow. They have had 8 weeks of holidays so we are ready for them going back. Anyone else sick of school holidays?

Yeah me too sheils, it's costing me too much on days out! Mine are back next week which is when I start a new job again.

Did your kids have 8 weeks too? We had 2 weeks in Majorca, 2 nights in Edinburgh and 4 nights down the Whitby - Bridlington coast and it still dragged.:)

second week of kids being at school and im slowly getting used to it, so quiet without them here:rotfl:had ds2 home today as struggling with his asthma as not been taking his tablets!!

woohoo i will be christmas shopping in 6 weeks:j:j will be raiding the xmas shop:D this time im taking pics of everything and i mean everything!:rotfl:

back into swing of comping today, still behind by 50 pages though, hope everyone is ok :santa2:

Thanks for reminding us about Xmas Princess Pixiedust! I am resisting the urge to check how many weeks away it is. I have an older son who is going off to Bermuda to work in 2 weeks and he is hoping to come back for Xmas though so maybe I will be looking forward to it nearer the time.

Are you going to Orlando for shopping PPD? Never too early to start! Last year I done really well for xmas with wins which was a good thing seeing as OH got made redundant then. Been putting bits away for a few months now.:)

Yeah sheils, our kids also had 8wks off. School is also getting renovated so hoping they dont have to off for extra weeks. Not finished till october.
We went into Whitby on Saturday as its about an hour away. I love whitby & Filey.:) Hope your DS gets home for xmas
