can you not take it down or are you superstitious ? know some people take thiers down but aren't you supposed to keep them up for so long after xmas ?

Lovely quiet Christmas day at home, then boxing day and onwards with my mad extended family, it's been great! :D:D

Just wanted to say a quick hello to you all. I am a long-time lurker, first-time chatter.

Have won a few bits in 2010 but nothing for months . Still, love reading about what everone else has won. Thanks to all posters!!

Jay - I know I'm bonkers but what about all you lot - join a camping forum & then all you lot seem to talk about is winning things - no tents, no calor gas stoves & no chemical toilets ever mentioned - waste of time if you ask me - think I'm going to go back to the Scottish forum 'Pee outside & jaggy thistles up yer bum'

Korky - no I'm not superstitious - only put the tree up on the 22nd - just that the lights keep drawing my eyes away

Me & OH went out for our 'xmas curry' (a tradition he made up to force me to go to the Indians with him) & were saying the last time we went to a New Years do was for the millenium & what a pair of old farts we have become so might be a party in the in with the lovely skippy for me too

Actually I haven't been camping for a couple of years, maybe I need to join a non-camping forum! I mean, it just doesn't seem...proper or right to be here still.

A Christmas curry sounds like a great tradition, do you frequent the same place, or try new ones out? :T:T
