Morning all

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, this flu bug that is doing the rounds is so hard to shift hope everyone feels better soon.

The youngest grandkids were ill over Xmas too, they came to us on Boxing Day but still ill so little one went home to mum and then off to docs for antibiotics as she has had it for almost 2 weeks now.

The kids all enjoyed their presents and were happy with what they got, no arguments either so all is well with peace and love.

Haven't comped much as I have had the lirgi too but haven't been able to shift it, it's been on and off since early November now so a new year visit to the docs for me I suppose.

Red that driver sounds a right t*** I think I would be inclined to ring the bus office and say you weren't happy but just say you aren't really complaining but think they should know then maybe customer service will make a comeback.

Hope you manage to get your prize sorted for something more suited to you 4candles,

If I don't manage to get back into the inn before the new year .... Happy New Year all x

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone who is ill gets well soon. I have 2 sons and a daughter all coughing away and moaning with sore throats too. Still we are off to the sales soon. It will be lovely to just walk out to the car and just get into it. It sometimes took us half an hour to get it clear of ice and snow! It is a people mover so a bit big for the garage which is really annoying in bad weather.

Just thought I would tell you how well the cookery book went down that I won in one of your posts Korky. I gave it to ds3 for xmas and he was over the moon and dd and him made us our meal last night from it! DD made the starter and he made lovely pasta dish. DS1 supervised. It was lovely not to cook for a change. DD moaning she would like a cookbook too.

Have a good day all - sales are calling! Might pop in later. DS1 going away to a wedding in Troon so house will be quieter tonight.

have a great time at the sales, i'm still not up to getting out yet,
as still a bit wobbly, but hopefully will be soon for the sales

bella's last year was 28/12 , mamzies's was29/12 & toniq's 29/12
started up so maybe that's when ?

:hello: Everyone

I am a bit better today.still got bad chest and thankfuly cough is lessening.if no better in morning will phone GP to see what they say.Rang Samaritans for chat and lady was nice to chat to and said to me so glad you called and hope you get well soon.Rang NHS Direct for advice as well,kept getting cut off but finally got through at around 1.20pm today.Got to take medication and keep room ventilated.still got a bad cold,was meant to go to a get together at friends tomorrow but cancelled as I wont be well enough,I have been out for some air quickly as I needed milk and then came in.Had a nice bath to soothe my aches.Mum made my bed as I wanted clean sheets.She and Dad went to Marks and Spencers for me and got me some meals and my newspaper.
