Good thinking Soosieboo :T
Red...that driver was probably peed off cos she had to work while some others were at home still celebrating! She sounds like a right jobsworth! I had an ignorant bus driver when go to the docs. He saw me struggling to get across the road then try to run for the bus, when I approached and put my hand out he ignored me and drove off. I then threw up in the bus stop from running.
Glad you managed to catch up tttjay

..not sure where i can put my post..Here it is
Just reading these post's make's me think of my forthcoming comping win....which i won 9 months ago. seemed like a good idea at the time, Now with snow and the cold, Husky sledging in Sweden (i won on the lucozade back in march) does not seem all that exciting fun, just more cold and snow. I wished i had chosen a prize closer to home, without the hassle of getting to Heathrow and passports. My youngest son has gone clingly, so how we are going to leave him is another issue.
The prize is non-transferable or re-fundable, which leaves no options, but i don't want waste the prize, i would be happy to swap for someone with a prize won for example in wales, who entered the same competition.
...Thinking of talking with the promoters in the new year..
what would anyone advice ..0 -
I suppose it cant do any harm to talk to promoters to see what they say. I think all comps state non transferable/refundable but sometimes you might get someone who is genuinely nice and offer an alternative. Good luck with it, hope you manage to get a more suitable prize for you.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0
