The competitions (apart from a school one) have not started yet but in case it does not get spotted and/or I forget, thought it would be an idea to stick in this thread.

I wasn't sure where to post so I thought I would pop it here, its a bit of a taboo subject I think.. As when I try to chat about it on facebook and stuff, no one really answers honestly lol.

Its about multiple entries in competitions. I will use the 7up comp recently ended as an example. At first I was entering one time per hour - my email, and then I increased this to both mine and my partners. When I saw someone had one 4 cams and was still winning I increased my entries to 6 per hours - as it was one entry per email address. (This was for the last 4 days of the competition - I figured I had nothing to lose) I didnt win.. but I was confident that one entry per email per draw was fine - even if all the details attached to those entries were mine (the same information and the T&C said 1 per email per draw.)

Now the lucosade phone one, I am only entering once per draw - my details only like I did with the 7up to start. As it is one per PERSON per draw.
I was just wondering if others enter multiple times per draw under different names , details, like partner, brothers, parents etc.. increasing ther chances to win, Which i have no problem with - im just a bit nervous of doing it.

I also enter the ITV ones with 3 different numbers but all my details - as they are MY phones. Has anyone won doing this? (Using more than one number)
Please dont slam me. Just need to get a few replies. If you feel better in sending me a PM rather then posting here I would greatly appreciate that too.

I personally only enter once even if multiple entries are allowed

if you are thinking of entering more than once you need to check the T&C's before entering to see if it is allowed

a word of warning if you enter in different names and different email addys you may be disqualified as some comps log the ip addresses and disqualify duplicate ip entries

If you want to see the size of the Black Hole, go onto the comps board and select New Topic View. Use "win" as a search term (over 95% of threads contain this word). There are no threads between 0358 on 03/10 and 0442 this morning.

Many thanks One-Eye for the update I have posted quite a few dupes today due to the index search problems

the comps forum in it's present form is unworkable let's hope it is fixed soon :eek:
