I tried to post a link to a competition but it says I am not allowed to post a link! How can anyone post a compplease help this techno numpty!!

I am so confused! I have tried to post a comp and I have no idea how to do this!! I feel a complete numpty! I can't even find what i postd! And I am not allowed to post a link! How the bloomin hell do you post a comp please anyone!

have you checked to see it hasnt already been posted ? please can you do a search for certain words related to the comp and if not post a link with a space in it and someone with more posts will post a clckable link for you

you can't post links until a certain stage, one of the regulars will do it for you if you list all the details

I tried dabbling in facebook and twitter competitions, but was worried that I would never know if I had won anything. So unless its required to follow or like a company to enter from thier main site - I am avoiding these for now.

Whatever you do, don't self promote comps (not implying that you are) - they'll get taken off - if you are connected to the comp you want to post, send a pm to one of the regular posters with the address of comp in it.

I use the "ive entered" button quite a bit, it's really useful but I've found that the green tick doesn't show on a post if it happens to be at the top of the competition page.

Yep same thing happens here. When I get around to it, I'll change the amount of posts I see on a page, and see if the same thing happens then.

I noticed this Ms Chocoholic and tried unentering & entering again but it still didnt have the tick. The next day when I logged in again the tick was there so I guess it did register it! I do love the button though, much easier!

Hi there intelligent people!

I usually jot down the e mail addresses for the love it magazine comps then type out and send later but they are coming back as undeliverable.I have Yahoo. Just wondered if any one had any ideas why??:)
