hiya, would that mean we've got to keep pm'ing/sending the info to whoever runs the reg lists in the stickies every time we post the new ones?
it does take a long time sometimes to type out all the info/t&c's, check issue numbers etc & specially on the puzzler/tab monthly ones as some are holidays etc,
also the prize details/etc on the weekies,
that's life/pick me up sometimes change the format on the forms so have to rearrange them every week so all in all it does take up a while to type them all if we have to keep asking the stickie people to update them as well it's going to take even longer ?

you're right korky and something I hadn't thought of there may not be a way of doing it then unless we had a sticky for mag threads that you could update with the latest link?

or just leave them as they are that's what this discussion is for

The problem is that not all of the comps in my opinion are true Regular comps on Gillas thread but are MULTIPLE entry comps over a set period of time

Really think that what constitutes a regular comp really needs to be clarified to avoid any further confusion

A very good point twotimes and very good reason for all of the comps which have a set ending date being posted on the main board irrespective of whether they are Daily,Weekly or Monthly

any thread with for eg 'daily until 31/12' in the title, where posters go in each day and post the latest answer is usually moved by one of the BG's to the regs board, and usually someone has asked gilla to add it to the list
surely these types of comps will be easier to find from the links in gillas threads than people coming across them randomly or when the end date searched, which may mean they have missed out on multiple entries

for comps such as 'the cube' comp which happen regularly but are posted individually with an end date the main board is fine, they get moved to GO when the end date is reached and the same poster usually puts them up each week

I may be missing something myself here but how are the Regular comp ending dates searchable when they are posted E: DAILY E: E: WEEKLY MONTHLY

I've quoted the bit about discussing what is a reg comp above
so we would let people know what we think and let it be discussed here, I'm not sure a poll of users would be useful just yet, as we're not changing anything, just using the regs board for the reason it was set up by MSE in the first place

it shouldnt be that hard to search considering theres not that many pages compared to 1000s on the main board

if there is an end date in the title somewhere it comes up when I do a search

I use advanced search, put the date in this way eg 31/12
select 'search titles only' then select 'competitions time' and underneath tick 'also search in child forums',

so the search bring me up anything with 31/12 in the title in main or regs comps boards
