I'm just back from B&Q. Most of my tiles up, just the mosaic tiles behind the washbasin to finish. Went to get some more - the supplier has gone bust!!! No tiles at all. Now going to have to dismantle part of the mosaic to put some other tiles in and hope it doesn't look s**t!

    I agree a good date :)

Just back from second day at car show. We made friends with other members of the truck owning club and had a good time. V tired now tho, so maybe take away for tea? :o Spends were good tho - 1x ice cream and burger for DH, rest of time cooked for ourselves. For me a £1 key ring and jar of churney for £3.

  • Butti-what a pain in the arris!

Well, had to set my alarm this morning to get up and go on a short motorcycle run on DH new Harley. Was so worth it! He hasn't had a bike I could go on the back of for over 8 years and I really enjoyed myself-it was quite a sight-nearly 30 Harley's all thundering up the road...it was in aid of Help for Heros. All the people in the bike club were so friendly, it was a wonderful time (except for a VERY numb bottom) DH is off for the weekend up to Scotland with them-I would love to go but we haven't got anyone that will have the kids. Oh well.

    Claire-how was the wedding?

It was fab Bun, a really fun wedding :) they had a small ceremony and the reception was a buffet with a mr whippy iceream maker, sweets, balloons which everyone was blowing up and letting go around the room, bubbles, then later on in the night a hog roast, the musicd was 70's 80's fun music :)

they said they wanted a bouncy castle but health and safety theyt couldn't, adults + alcohol = broken bones lol

    didn't stop laughing
