When do your kids officially finish for christmas Elly?“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Hi everyone
Hope your little one's better Nixi, sounds horrible. Glad your Avon's going well.
Skint - hope things are warmer?! Love the cakes on fb!
Elly - thanks for setting up the new page i'll definitely be up for it and am ready to move in
Jo - Great news about your children having an auntie over here, i love reading about all your christmas activities - they sound fun and yum!
Hi to everyone else, hope you're all plodding on happily...
I had a perfect day on Sunday, everything just fell into place - babysitting my nephew and playing rugby in the sunshine, seeing squirrel,s, visiting my nan, cooking a roast, relaxing - all really simple stuff but just perfect. I've been paying for it since though - yesterday and today have been rubbish - nothing major just various things, migraines, redundancy meetings, icy roads... I'm trying to keep recalling how happy i was on Sunday but it's hard to do.
When can we move into our new thread..? I love the idea of a fresh start and the comment re scots joining on 3rd made me laugh out loud - can i join them?!Just £10,852.28p to go...

Hi Em,
really glad you had such a great day on sunday. sounds fab.
We are enjoying advent although I am winging it a bit and, although we are having fun, we still have our "moments".lol.
Really busy time at school for DH as being a music teacher he has so many extra things on at the moment. even things like the christmas bingo have a performance included! crazy!
Sounds like a stressful time at work for you.
Elly it really sounds like you are getting your head round everything and will have a killer masterplan when we start the new thread!!“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Sounds like you're doing a great job of winging it - all the activities have sounded really good fun. How lovely for your children to grow up with special memories of your family time - even with the 'moments'.
