    Hey everyone,

Is this happening again next year?

I'd be happy to help out with the Matched Betting again.

I got distracted after a few months, due to personal reason, but now have my life back on track so will be going for it again in Jan.

I have also been looking at ways to get a few quid out of Poker Rooms using their free to enter tourneys so will add that to my armoury next year.

    Cheers

PS. Did anyone actually get to the £10,000 mark?

Cool, I make it dead easy to get started in the matched betting (according to the feedback I got anyway!) And still have everything set up from last Jan, although will revamp it a bit!

I'll keep an eye out for the new challenge thread

well no snow today but stuck again as kids off and hubby working so there goes 2 days holiday ,no matter trying to tidy up or debts and be honest about them thinking going to have to go and just do the shifts ,with the money coming in we dont qualify for tax credits anymore,we should not be in this mess but have to say less of a mess than last year so think i'm going to bite the bullet and put in for weekend shift6s in january and just get used to it.

hi hope ev1s kids are better mine are just bored no school since last monday, really need to focus on finances
    so heres some things
1/trying hard found a thread on debtfreewannabee forum where they do exactly what you wanted they set a target and get 3-4 months to clear the latest one finishes on the 10th dec but says a new one will start in jan11
2/skint you'll be proud been doing the homebaking thing for our allergy bound family lol however i'm not sure how much money you save but at least i know whats in it and made ds a birthday cake
3/i looked at a snowball calculator thingy on debt free forum i have a loan that finishes this month so decided that it should go straight to the credit cards before we get used to extra this shows you how to use the extra and how quick the debts go down
i'm really keen to do the challenge for 2011 and think i am going to go with the 11,000 in 2011 as although i know i probably wont make it as in reality this is almost £1000 a month i do think if i reach high and get half it then i will be impressed rather than feeling a failure and if it all goes towards the total debt we have then we have still won what do you all think?

    Go Elly, Yay :j:beer::T
    Love it.

I feel the same. I don't have any money in the bank to show for this one but i know we have probably made about £5k more than we would have in terms of moneymaking/ moneysaving and me getting partime jobs. The thread has inspired it all and the extra cash has been indispensible in getting us through a difficult year.
Then there is allthe other plus-es the thread and you lot have brought me.
    Thanks everyone.
