Having a few problems mentally - seem to be getting my meds wrong. Feel really far away from everything and very unhappy but no real cause. Getting the bare essentials done but seem to freeze when it comes to anything creative - Elly, I will get your Sulkies there soon, I'm sorry - managed to knock the head off your OH! - and every time I start to do it again I convince myself it'll be !!!! and I should try then next day. Really sorry - have been avoiding here and facebook cos I feel like I've let you down. Off to doc's on Thurs to ask about seeing mental health people about maybe having adult ADHD - did the online thing on the main help website and scored above 70, which is really high, despite not being 'on the move' all the time. Big massive hugs to all - will do a proper post later but right now am getting really srtressed trying to think about what to write - sttupid brain! Speak soon much love xx xx

hey Money, Paula.... good to see you back.

Money - we're here..... anytime you need us!

Paula - same to you too lovely. Even if you're not making money, then come and join us!!!

Well, a carp day here... two flat tyres, no tyre place open tomorrow and a job interview on Monday morning, could it get any worse??

The interview is for weekends in a cookware shop as I am in desperate need to meet and talk to people, sitting at home all day by myself is sending me slightly more loopy than I was before. I would mean that I get a break from the kids, about £60 a week more in the bank but no free weekends with OH (which might be seen as a bonus sometimes!!)

PM is coming on okay but it's still not making money and I need money coming in.... OH thinks I might be taking on too much by doing both and (secretly) I think he's right so I don't really know what to do for the best.

I hate being a grown up sometimes!

Oh, and I have the lurgy too.... bloomin stupid colds.

another one with with the lurgy here (well a cold),

Meant to post hours ago but got distracted by a giant list of yet more art/craft/homemade & e-commerce type sites, and the browser crashed and I lost it all

Paula - hugs

concentrate on looking after yourself, hope your able to get any support/help you need via the doctors etc.

I'm not adhd (afaik) but have cross-over/similar symptoms, frustrating not being able to focus/create. (am HFA - high functioning autistic.)

---

Started dabbling with ebid again (last time I finally got a sale but they never paid  )

need to list more items and fill in my about me page, set up a store....
but I've done a little bit of promotion on twitter & facebook & today got a friend request from the person who runs a ebid help site so I might get some luck this time *crosses fingers*

Some good news re the Amazon item that was 'lost in the post' (allegedly) wasn't expecting anything 'cos I hadn't got a receipt but I sent the Royal Mail claim form off anyway, so there'd know if there was a problem in that region/country (or if the buyer was a serial ).

Added a polite but firm comment/explanation that this was second hadgoods that I was (re)selling online so didn't have a reciept & included the order statement from amazon. I also had photos of the item & packaging that I'd meat to blog about but never got round too, so printed them out and stuck them in too.

Got a cheque for £10 today :T

(the buyer never got back to me demanding a refund or put in a claim after I'd told them I'd got a certificate of postage so they were probably trying it on).

• Not sure if this is useful to any of you but if anyone's thinking of selling on artfire (art/crafts/jewellery etc) they're doing a group buyers thing to get Pro Accounts for $5.99 a month if enough people signup buy the end of this month. (not sure if you need a credit card or if all debit cards are ok - think visa debits I'll work but don't know about international transactions/currency conversion fees :undecided)

Morning :hello:, ok, my new aim is to report on here at least once a day!! (except Saturdays cos well I'm working a 12 hour shift normally :rotfl:)

Made £60 in tips last night in my 2nd job (£20 was from one guy - gotta love weddings) Also going to get 'holiday pay' for the days I was off sick which is another bonus.

Got £14 in my Paypal account which I'll need to withdraw so I'm not tempted to spend it.

I'm looking into a make up artistry course so that I can hopefully start doing bridal make up (the hotel I work in does a lot of weddings so I'd kind of be able to advertise :D)

Need to count up my savings and update my total (never paid off the OH loan as it was a brilliant amount of interest that we would be saving)

Off to read back the post (oh and its great to see some of the old faces!!!)

ETA: Updated my total.

Oi... who you calling old! :)

Hey Jenna!!

Still full of lurgy, have to spend £180 on two new tyres, why do men have to have a car with alloys and low profile tyres that cost twice as much as normal tyres? Grrr.... I think the tyres will be worth more than the car now too....

Awww, Mambury, big hugs to you - that came out first time as "bug higs" lol! - and Elly, really huge ones to you cos of your mum being poorly. It's the most horrible and frustrating thing seeing a loved one going through that carp. Hopefully it'll help a little bit being able to help her in a practical way? Albeit knackering. You're in my thoughts. Not least because I really fancy making a voodoo husband doll for you lol! :) Thank you so much for being so nice about it.

Jo, I have you to thank for suggesting I might have ADHD - I know I might not get diagnosed as needing treatment but the more I'm looking into it the more things in my life seem to fall into place, and I'm starting to think maybe I haven't been socially inept, disorganised, 'useless' and had 'no common sense' all my life - it's just been a lack of dopamine! I'm a bit overwhelmed tbh as I've been consistently frustrated as long as I can remember, feeling like I've had the brains but not the practical sense - I'm so happy, I feel like I'm hugging myself lol :) Just can't wait for my doctor's app. on Thurs now. Big massive higs all lol xx
